Download and install PocketLife Calendar on your Laptop or Desktop computer

If you want to install and use the PocketLife Calendar app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type PocketLife Calendar in the search bar and press Search. Click on PocketLife Calendarapplication icon. A window of PocketLife Calendar on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use PocketLife Calendar for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

  • Good, but a few issues

by totally obsessed in this game
I LOVE this app, and I would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for these couple of things: 1. Limited events. When you first get the app, it’s great and all but then after a couple of events you have scheduled, it kind of goes down hill, if your a twelve year old who doesn’t like to spend money on things like this or just someone who doesn’t like to throw money out the window. You have to pay $5 in order to get unlimited events and I know that’s not a lot or much of a problem but it’s very unnecessary. 2. Adds. They don’t just pop up on the screen, (which I am very fond of, thank you) instead they stay at the bottom of the screen. I don’t mind this, but the problem is is that some can be a little inappropriate, scary, or disturbing. For instance, if you have heard of the app Yarn, the add is on the bottom of the screen. I’m not going to go into details about this add because it is all of the above: inappropriate, scary, and disturbing. I think this app can do a lot better and be more appropriate for kids like me who need an organizer for their homework and/or their appointments and special events. Thanks so much to the developers of this app for your great efforts. Congratulations on getting a five star with other reports, and I hope you have success in later approaches. Thank you and please help me with my problems. Thanks again!! 😊😄
  • Great except Time Zone awkward

    by 20oti
I like everything about PocketLife calendar EXCEPT how it manages time zones when scheduling an item. I would much prefer to name the Time Zone rather than pick a city in that zone to identify it. Seems quirky, and it is annoying when entering multiple items in my schedule. Furthermore, not sure how it handles items that cross time zones. Do you enter the time it would have been in the original zone? Or do you enter the time it will be in the zone where the activity ends? Other than that repeating time zone entering annoyance I really like everything about PocketLife calendar. MUCH better and easier to see my schedule than in Apple’s Calendar. The little dots in Apple’s version don’t tell me much of anything. In PocketLife I can see the title (or at least enough of it) and the color to know what activity is scheduled for any given day. Plus..you can have 4 different calendars, with 4 different contents, with PocketLife. Imagine a “work” calendar, a vacation calendar, a travel calendar, a home calendar, holiday calendar, or any combination of types. Makes it very easy to see my schedule.
  • Monthly Subscription Fee for Cal-Task app? Too many competitors that charge just initially

    by DPJTPA
Here are my thoughts in no particular order that you, the reader, may find intriguing. I always view how many updates are released and how far apart/how recent they occur (See link in app page). These folks update regularly over the years and you would be surprised how many do not. GUI is excellent, feature rich, capable, fantastic team of designers & devs. Subscription fee models allow companies to be valued higher, operate more stable and be more profitable. More and more companies have shifted to this model across all industries in the past 10 years. Kudos to the dev responding to every review consistently and logically. However, with a company such as Readdle (another high quality dev team) offering very, very solid apps into many spaces, it’s hard not to go with “Calendars 5” and pay the one-time charge for a full featured, fully unlocked app that does not charge you again except the initial cost. OvalKey LTD obviously is a very talented team and they are very forthcoming about their business model. If you want to use the best, you have to play by their rules....or go pay about $5 to Readdle and forget about it and use their high end apps for another 15 years.
  • Love but mostly Dislike

    by Zand05
I was looking for a shareable calendar with a good weekly view. This certainly fits the bill with two weekly view options. As well, the monthly view gives an excellent detailed glimpse of events. As opposed to an iOS calendar you can actually see all events without going to the individual day which is exactly what we wanted. The cons: syncing and sharing is poor. I spent a considerable amount of time formatting the calendar how we wanted it to look for best visibility and planning, shared it...and none of those edits transferred. When it synced to my iPad, none of those edits transferred. When I followed troubleshooting, deleted and reinstalled, all edits were gone along with several hours of my time and patience. As well, family sharing doesn’t work for the full version of this app, so it’s a rip off. That means the husband paid $4.99, didn’t get any of my careful edits, I have to pay $4.99 and edit all four versions of the calendar (phones and tablets). This is a yearly charge as well 😤 While there’s some useful tools in this and we will be using it for the moment, I’m certainly looking around for a more functional option. Please developers, instead of focusing so much on pointless design functions give up better syncing and sharing.
  • Finally got to use app for enough time to give a good review!

    by Pabholio
First I’d like to ask these app guy/gals to please BACK OFF asking for a review so fast! I ain’t gunna do it! Not until I get enough time using it so that I can give a review that is worth a crap! That said, I would like to say that “I”, after like forever it felt like, now have found a calendar app that works for me! FINALLY!!! I love the color choices that you get to use to personalize your own calendar, not to mention one thing I’ve been searching for, and that being me and whoever shares the calendar can use different colors so we know just by looking who’s appointment that is that’s coming up! I would love to get into all the things I like about this app but I really don’t want to do all that typing! I like it! I don’t know exactly what buying the upgrade did for me but I got it anyway! Heck yeah I did! I’m sure one day here soon I’ll figure it out! Oh!! Hey! Calendar app dudes! Word of advice... don’t go screwing with it ok!!! Ever hear the phrase “don’t fix what ain’t broke”? Well, don’t “F” with it!! Leave it be! For gods sake PLEASE!!!
  • Customization Galore!

    by ~April A.~
I absolutely LOVE how many specific things you can customize in this app to make it the exact way you want it to work for you! This is by far my favorite calendar app I’ve ever used, but it has a few downfalls in my experience.... The major one is that for some reason when I add an event, it creates like 15 duplicates and then if I need to delete it, I have to delete every single duplicate event individually and it gets very aggravating! It also takes up all of the space in the month view and anything later in the day is hidden at the bottom of the list of duplicates and you can’t see it unless you scroll through the billion copies of the earlier event. I’m not sure if this is only my app doing this or if it’s a common issue. It does get very annoying, but it hasn’t caused me to switch calendar apps yet, because all of the other benefits this app has to offer outweighs the issue in my opinion, but it would definitely be awesome and gain that fifth star if they would fix it! All in all though, I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone that wants to set up their calendar just the way they like it because the possibilities are endless!
  • Used to love this app

    by Perrie-13
I have used this app for a few years and really enjoy it. It's easy to use and the option of colorizing events makes it easy, with a quick glance. I have come to depend on the ability to colorize events and personalize the look by changing pictures. I’m so disappointed recently because I bought a new phone and iPad and my calendar did not sync with either. I tried reloading it and that didn’t work. So I’ve had to go back and manually copy my stuff onto the new devices. I have gotten new devices many times in the past and did not have the same issue. I’m not going to do it again. Really frustrating! I’ve tried others but none are like this one. Super sad : ( Update: I received an unexpected response to my complaint and was able to fix the problem. I recommend this app for sure! But it shouldn’t require a poor review to get the problem solved. It should be a seamless transfer of information when transferring to a new device. Hopefully next time it won’t be so hard and disappointing.
  • Does what I need

    by AndroidTransplant
Only used for a month. 1st time iPhone owner. I've used every calendar on every phone I've had and this is just as good as all of them, maybe better. Limited events for the free version but $3 was worth it for me for everything else it let me do, plus no ads...which started to get annoying anyway. I like the customizable options like event color, templates you can make for frequent similar events so I don't have to keep re-doing similar bill payment or yearly/weekly event customizations. The one thing I miss was the icons/emojis I could put to each event but that's just decoration I can live without. I do like the list view that comes up on the bottom when you select a day but the month view still stays up. No glitches so far when I try to delete a reoccurring event like my last calendar. Doesn't look like much, as far as cool looking or prettiness is concerned but I haven't messed with those options, I just need it to be easy and do the reminders/events at the right day and time. Only complaint is that when I type "Movie today" on a certain date it automatically changes the appointment to today's(the current date) Or when I say "meeting at 11am tomorrow" the calendar will change the date and time of the alarm. NO! I want it to be written down as this and set when I want it which is the night before! It's a small annoyance I just have to watch my wording when entering events on it.
  • Needs a few changes to the Apple Watch app to make it even better

    by Corneileous
Since I pretty much only downloaded this app strictly for my watch - the Apple calendar app for the iPhone is sufficient but on the watch? Not so much. I like being able to see the full month display with your app on my watch because you can’t get that view with the Apple calendar. It shows everything else but as far as the “at a glance” view, no. One thing I would like to see for the watch face is the ability to, when I go to customize my complications, I would like to be able to select your app for the date display on my watch for the date and day instead of using the default “date” selection. Reason being, in order to view the month the way I like to see it is that I have to go through all them extra steps to open your app. I could just use your app as a complication but the default view isn’t the day and date. It’s the next upcoming event. Can we change that to displaying the date and day? Or at least change it so that we can choose what it shows there as a complication?
  • All-around best calendar

    by xCarefulShopper
Why? 1. The size of the lettering is larger & easier to read. Less fatigue, faster performance. 2. Flexibility of assigning & reassigning color coding to events & Calendar structure makes this app much easier to use & visually group events. I can see the flow and stacking of events in a colorful way superior to the other top 3 calendars I am testing. 3. Love the logic & flow. It’s generally intuitive. REFINEMENTS? I would suggest more innovation, refinements, and user control options around the three suggested areas I’ve outlined above. Additional work in those areas will, in my opinion, earn this calendar app a top position. With those improvements this calendar should be a 4-7$ purchase. Allow your loyal base to upgrade for less. Last Thoughts: I have been evaluating this calendar intensely for about three weeks. I evaluate a lot of software programs & apps and some of them play games or have annoying ads or try to get you to do certain things and buy under pressure and what not. So far this app has been very fair and has allowed me to get to know the app to understand it without having to sell one of my children to pay for it! If that changes I’ll try to give a heads up. BTTTOM LINE: A Thoroughly enjoyable calendar app that needs a little more sophistication to be a truly great app. Congratulations to the developer and thank you for your work.
