Install Current Altitude app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Current Altitude on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Current Altitude"
- The search will reveal the Current Altitude app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Current Altitude is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Current Altitude.
- Now enjoy Current Altitude on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Current Altitude Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Current Altitude,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Current Altitude" » then Click "Install".
- Current Altitude will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great app

Used this app in the mountains on vacation to find out how high we were. Corresponded to the signs we saw at the top of each and gave us a better idea when we were up or down the mountain passes. Works without data which is great because in the areas we were driving there is none.

This app is so easy to use and supports my health

I struggle with my love of mountains and a lifelong issue with altitude sickness.
I use the app to help me ensure that I stay within my ‘safe’ altitudes ( 8500 feet) or take medical precautions
Last trip to the Andes ( atacama ) others were ill but didn’t know to associate it with the altitude.

How High Are You

It is always fun to know what your elevation is no matter where you are. I even use this app on an airplane trip when the conditions allow. Can fluctuate a bit but seems to give you a fairly close estimation of how high you are!

As accurate as can be reasonably expected. Zoom feature on map screen would make this an [A]. Travel record would be an [A+]. This app more accurate would eliminate the need for land surveyors.
