I got this App after buying a different one that left me in the subway station looking crazy because I couldn't figure out where I was going. This is by far the best subway App I have used. It lest you pick your starting and ending station by name, what's cloest on a map to a point you're goiing, or which one is cloest to you. Starting and tranfer stations have an accurate train schedule so you know how long your wait is. The GPS and Google Maps function is awesome because if you going sightseeing like I do you might end up far from your starting place. Just use the GPS and it will point you to the cloest station and from there it will get you to where you need to go. I didn't use the Lite version but I would gladly have paid more for this one. This is the App you're looking for!
A must for any tourist (or resident!) in Seoul

I am currently in the app vacationing and this app has been indispensable. I figured out the subway routes from Incheon airport to my hotel in the Dongdaemun area and plotted out and saved all the routes to my tourist destinations for the upcoming week. I can quickly refer to any routes because the data is saved locally and I can plot routes on the fly with the simple and effective interface. No data connection is needed ( I have a US based iPhone with no cell service in Korea). With additional updates (mainly having a built in search box at the main map screen) this app will only get better. A big kudos and thank you to the developers or this wonderful app. My travels have been so much easier because of it. This is the BEST metro app for the app, it is money well spent.

In the week since the iPhone hit the streets of the app, I've already tried a few different the app metro navigation apps. This is the best one I've used so far. The map is up to date and easy to navigate. Right now you can find out what you need to know to get around the city: route information, travel times, and transfer points. Station names appear in Roman letters in a large, readable font. With this app, a newly arrived wayguk-in should be able to get from Oido to Yeoido without too much drama. While the information given is good, this app has a lot of potential for future enhancements. Future updates could give the times of the first and last trains from each station and maps of stations and the surrounding areas, including major landmarks and their corresponding exit numbers, just to name two.
So out of date it's almost obsolete

When I got this app on my iPod touch in March, I loved it. The most recent update had been the end of Feb. and I was cruising around pretty well. By the time I got my iPhone in June, I discovered I ended up late a lot. The app was inaccurate and crashed a lot. now it's December and the app still has no updates. This shouldn't be a paid app anymore if it's not going to be updated. Pros: you can still see the old lines and chart a basic path. It's got a nice station search interface that I like more than the one from its otherwise superior competitor Jihachul. If you're looking for a paid app, get Jihachul, at least until this one finally gets a refurbish.
