Install Sal app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Sal on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Sal"
- The search will reveal the Sal app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Sal is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Sal.
- Now enjoy Sal on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Sal Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Sal,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Sal" » then Click "Install".
- Sal will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Excellent! But where is the English setting?

The app looks and works really good. It is just what you want and need if you are a tourist and visiting the island.
My only complain or maybe it will be dealt with later on, Is that there is no English version or translation. The majority of the tourists that visit the island speak English, so it would make sense to be able to switch to English or other languages as well.

It needs more listings, it also be nice for iPhone users to add the restaurants location via the GPS fix. Also, it crashes constantly when you try to access the top 10 list.

La cantidad de restaurantes es bien limitada. Solo estan los restaurantes reseñados en el libro this app (no todos). Si buscas chilis, faccio, on the border. etc.. no hay. Restaurantes españoles solo uno, Cadenas de restaurantes, cero. Si es una guia debe estar todo incluido.
the number of restaurants is rather limited. only are the restaurants reviewed in the book this app (not all). If you looking for chilis, faccio, on the border, macaroni, etc. .. is not . Spanish Restaurants only one, restaurant chains, zero. If it is a guide should be all inclusive.
