The Best I Could Find

I was using a different (but very similar) digital this app app before this one, and I was generally happy with it. Then, one day, there was an update or something that made the clock display smaller and put a banner ad in the horizontal view (whereas before they were only in the vertical view). This basically broke the deal for me, so I went looking for another free this app app. Out of the few that I tried, this was the only one to have the functionality I wanted without the bothersome ad in the horizontal view. It also doesn't have the flashlight-on-shake function that some other apps have, which I am also glad to be rid of (accidentally getting a blast of bright light in the dark is not fun). While this app might not have every feature I would like, it had all the ones I need without any of the ones I despise. For that, I give it a five star rating.

This has been my go-to clock app for years and I’ve always loved it. But lately—when I put my phone in landscape mode for the first few times after launching the app—it thinks the center of the screen is in the lower left corner and THAT’S where it puts the time. It doesn’t increase the font size and it hides the lower half of the time. It takes several tries of going back and forth from landscape to portrait and back again before it displays the time larger and properly centered.
Easy to use and does what it says.

I'd give 5 stars if the app had a little more functionality. But I'm not really complaining either. I'd like it a little more if it came with its own dimmer too. But otherwise, it does what it says. Nice consistent glow that looks exactly like an this app. I do really like the weather function, with the location. I have not found any problems with it, and I've had it for a few weeks now. Nice free this app app.
Short lived alarm

I got my iPhone about 2 months ago and downloaded this app because I thought it would be good. It worked well for those 2 months but then this morning it didn’t go off even though the time was still set. I get up at the same time every day that I work so there shouldn’t have been any issues at all. I gave 3 stars because I don’t believe I got too used to it. I’ve had other phones, even a safelink one, where the the app worked well for years. I just want to forewarn people that this could happen but I don’t want to deter them from trying it out.
