What is Graphing Calculator 3D?

The scientific graphing calculator is a powerful tool that can plot 2D and 3D graphs for mathematical functions. It is similar to Texas Instruments TI-83 and TI-84 calculators but has more features, including the ability to plot 3D graphs. The app is available for iPad and has a streamlined interface that makes it easy to use.

Software Features and Description

1. For example, if you want to plot f(x,y)=3*x+4*y, you only need input the second part.

2. It is the scientific graphing calculator which can plot 2D and 3D graph.

3. It is highly recommended that you read the "Quick Start Guide" in build-in Help document before use this application.

4. Click "Plot" button.

5. Click button "Hist" and click "Help.

6. - any plot function will be saved and can be edited and plotted later.

7. After you use this graphing calculator, you will never want to use any other graphing calculator.

8. Note that you need math operator for any math formula.

9. It has more features such as plotting 3D graph for mathematics functions.

10. It is wrong if you enter: y=13*x+6 because it assumed it is a function of x or y or both.

11. News: This app supports iPad natively with full width and height.

    Does not work as pictured
  • Nice GUI, only wish the application worked

    By GentleRace (Pcmac user)

I like the key layout and general appearance of the interface. It looks like it should work. If I han't read a good review on this I probably never would have tried it. if the designer can just hooked-up with someone that knows how to program it would be great! Does not graph circles properly and therefore can not give intersections between parabola's and circles or linear equations. After more than an hour of trying to get it to function resulted in frustration. Not intuitive. Just the entertainment value of trying to get it work was worth the 99 cents to me but I'm easily entertained when it comes to math, programming and that kind of stuff. Tried to plot a simple parabola x^2+12x+36 and got an error on the plot and wouldn't solve the equation. Really?. Also - Select, Select All and the corresponding functions copy, cut paste do not function in the entry area. If you don't like to test stuff out then don't way your dollar.
  • Incredibly bad !!

    By -::::- (Pcmac user)

I could not believe anything on the App Store could have such bad reviews, so I gambled the money and just had to see for myself. Wow. Most all those reviewers were absolutely right, and then some! The description of this app sounded like it should be really great (with so many features and a nice variety of functions), That is, if it worked. Of the many functions for which I tried to plot graphs on my iPad, I'm not exaggerating when I say a great majority of them (even some simple cases) did not work at all --- giving errors, blank plots or nothing at all. In quite a few attempts, the app simply crashed. This is a terrible shame, especially when my appetite was whetted by seeing a few cases where the app worked and did so quite beautifully. Wasted my money, but maybe I learned a lesson and will pay greater heed to those reviewers next time ... Shame on the developers for releasing such an app, seemingly with no effort to working out its problems !
  • A Very Good Graphing Calculator

    By Radio_Man (Pcmac user)

The app really does work. The equals key and enter key are not for getting the results of a calculation. The ans key does that. The equals and enter keys are for setting up equations and variables. Instructions are available in the app by pressing the hist key and then Help at the bottom left of the display, or at the developers website. This very capable calculator is more difficult to use than a less capable 4 function or scientific calculator, but it does so much more. The 3D the app is great.
