What is Labor and Contraction Timer?

The labor contraction timing app is a useful tool for pregnant women to track their contractions during labor. 2. Record the intensity of each contraction and use the handy charts to view the intensity, count, and spacing of contractions over time.

3. The 20 minute average lets you see if your contractions are increasing or decreasing relative to the last hour.

  • Worked perfectly!

    By aemo45 (Pcmac user)

Used it last week during the the app of my daughter. Was way easier than writing down with pen and paper. My husband just pressed the button and then could get back to concentrating on me. The times I needed to record it, it didn't take too much brain power. Was helpful to be able to edit for times we messed something up. I even emailed my early contraction record to my husband at work to tell it was time for him to come home. App helped up decide when to leave for hospital, which was 45 mins away. All in all, I'm not sure of differences in paid vs free, but download paid version and support the developer! Believe me, this app will be invaluable when you are ready to use it!!
  • Handy!

Gave me something to do in early the app, which is a big help. The graphs are a good morale booster, showing the app progressing. This app got us to the hospital on time. Contractions weren't strong, so if we had been going by how they felt, the baby would have been born in a cab. Was also handy to be able to send the triage nurses an easy record of how long I'd been in the app and the spacing of contractions. Finally, I liked being able to wave my phone screen at my husband instead of having to say that I was having a contraction, because I didn't want to talk through them.
  • Worked great!

My contractions started at 2 minutes a part and the only reason I would know that was because of this app! Contractions seriously feel like they go on forever but in reality they only lasted between 30 seconds to a minute which I also would have never known if I hadn't purchased this app. If you seriously want to keep track of your contractions but this app. However the nurses at triage weren't at all interested in looking at it so if you are wanting something to show medical staff I wouldn't bother.
  • Simply works!

    By Odarya (Pcmac user)

Used it 3 times (on false alarms, 2 weeks and 1 week before actual the app) it helped me avoid going to the hospital before it was time. When I finally went I got there with a 5 dialation. That was perfect! The only thing I'd change is the edit button which is somewhat hidden (took a long time to find) and maybe add an option to ignore mistakes ( like 2sec ones). Otherwise, thanks a lot!!
