  • What it has is great but...

    By Justin1414 (Pcmac user)

I bought this for my human sexuality course so that I could discuss parts of the human reproductive the app and use their proper names and their proper pronunciations. Sadly, this application does not cover the reproductive anatomical terms in the depth that I needed of it. I will say, however, that if you need to know how to pronounce the different muscle groups, then this application will help you greatly.
  • "Schmoov...very schmoov."

    By johnnyairtime (Pcmac user)

Nothing's sexier than a girl with brains and a sexy voice. Well...a body doesn't hurt. The voice in this app will have you wondering where you can find this woman, because she must be beautiful. If not, I'd take her as she is, marry her with no questions asked, then whisk her away to my private island to have her waited on hand and foot for the rest of her life. But seriously, it's great to have these pronunciations so I can correct the teachers in my radiography classes, doctors at the hospital and medical book authors if they happen to slip. Little do they know the tools at my disposal. I went ahead and gave this program five stars because the creators obviously have a great attitude, putting up a link and page where you can submit words for them to add to their next update. Now that's professional. I love to say things like "sustentaculum tali" to sound smart, and nothing blows that image quicker than an untimely mispronunciation. I always tell my daughter this. "Three thaings: (while holding up two fingers) You gots ta work own yo Ainglish, an' yo maff." Then she smiles and says, "Maff." Let's face it. You don't know how to pronounce chordae tendineae any better than you can pronounce abductor digiti minimi, obliquus capitis or salpingopharyngeus, so get it together, soldier. You needs ta work own yo Ainglish. Git dis progran. Beleedat (Buh-LEE-dat). Reconoz (RECK-uh-nozz).
  • Awesome Anatomy App!

    By DCthree3 (Pcmac user)

I have a whole page of the app apps in my iPhone, I love the app and love to review it as much as possible. This app is my current favorite, because it not only lets you get the correct pronunciation (very important) but also lets you Google it or Wikipedia it, and immediately you get more information AND images that relate to it, without taking you out of the app, its very fast at going back and forth! By far it’s the best way to get complete anatomical information, it does so much more than just pronunciations!
  • Latin Schmatin...

    By Rob Kaye (Pcmac user)

If you are a medical student, and you've never taken latin, greek, or any of the other languages the app is based in, you could use this app. There's nothing more embarassing than being in the OR and mispronouncing the app...the surgeons will give you hell and no one will respect you. When you go home, even your dog may not love you anymore. Well, maybe just the first part.
