2. Hiragana Lite contains the 46 basic Hiragana characters, a subset of all the characters available in the full version.

3. Lift the card to reveal the answer and swipe to reveal the next card, or combine the lift and swipe gestures for quick studying.

Install Hiragana Lite app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Hiragana Lite on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Hiragana Lite"
The search will reveal the Hiragana Lite app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Hiragana Lite is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Hiragana Lite.
Now enjoy Hiragana Lite on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Hiragana Lite,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Hiragana Lite" » then Click "Install".
- Hiragana Lite will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Exactly What I Wanted

I have been starting to learn Japanese for a couple months now, and needed a convenient way to memorize the the app. I've downloaded 4-5 apps from iTunes and was disappointed...until now. This is a nice straight forward app with a great user interface. I had skipped over the full version of this app in the past because it didn't look like what I wanted. However, the screenshots don't do it's functionality justice. I highly recommend downloading this free version to see how it works. I like the fact that you can check the answer and change cards with a flick of the thumb. Also, that I can select a limited set of cards that I want to review. It is hard to learn with the other apps throwing all 100+ the app at you all at once. Here you can select the 5 to 10 cards you want to review and hit them over and over until you get them memorized. If you are looking for a clean straight forward app to replace a paper set of note cards, give this a try.
Good flipcards

Good flipcard functionality, and it includes the 46 main the app characters. If you want the other characters you need to buy the full version (apparently this little detail escaped the attention of a previous reviewer who unfairly gave it a low rating). What sets this app apart is that it works like true flipcards, and you can independently select which cards to include in your deck. This is one of the best Japanese learning apps you can get for free.

Exactly what I needed. Need to memorize the the app in 3 days and flash cards are the best way for me. Glad I found this before I wrote up 70 odd flash cards. Great system and I like how simple it is to add and remove sets that you're just learning. Hopefully I pass my quiz (it will be mostly thanks to you)
