A pretty good app

This app is very in depth... And does't miss any the app. It would be five stars if I e function was added... The ability to a reminders to the the app. Example. Valentines day is in two weeks. So you have time to buy gifts is the day requires. Other then that it is pretty cool.
Beautifully done

Beautiful colors, many countries... However this should be part of a calendar and task manager which you should develop. Look at Smartime+ calendar,todos,gtd for $10, with drag drop tasks (but add week and month views), and you will become VERY popular. One Problem: once i initially select United States, next time i run the application, i want to look at other countries the app, how do i do that, there is no control for that. There should be a drop-down list on the bottom to select country. Upon load the application loads up fast and into the current year calendar, but i want to look at other countries' the app too. Also: there is a left/right button on top, it should also be a slider control to select next/previous year Nice: when you click on a holiday it tells you at the bottom: "63 days left".. a nice touch (or also says 2947 days left for year 2017 :-) )
Frustrated

I'm so frustrated with this app. In my calendar there is an entry for New Year's Day starting on Jan 1, 2016 and ends on Jan 2, 4017. I can't edit or delete this entry and when I try, the screen freezes. I have to close the calendar completely in order to open again to see the days. And now I have contacted support and cannot get a response. I would love to just be done with this app but so far I will have to see it until the year 4017!!! UPDATE: Udo, the software guy, emailed me. He said the problem is when it is on an exchange server. He told me to delete New Year holiday w the Outlook calendar. It worked!!! Thank you, Udo.
Clear, Effective UI

I have been using this app since 2010. The developer has effectively resisted adding eye candy, social media connections, etc. Thank you. You can get as granular as your want for counties, religions, social topics, etc. and then when you want to see what's coming up, the informations is given in a straight forward list view. At the top of the list on the top right and left are buttons to step back and forward is years...the year is on each button so you can quickly see past/future holiday day & dates.
