What is Midi Poly Grid?

Beat Pads is a lightweight Midi Controller app for mobile phones and tablets that allows users to produce beats and finger drumming at home and on the go. It is not a complete DAW controller but rather an easy-to-use pad input device featuring a variety of layouts, intuitive playability, and modern modulation options such as MPE and Polyphonic Aftertouch. The app is designed for people who prefer pads to pianos and can be used as a MIDI device with any Mac via USB or WiFi.

Software Features and Description

1. It does **NOT** produce any sound on its own as of yet, but requires a host application or second device with Ableton, Fruity Loops, Garage Band, Logic, a Software Synthesizers or any other Music Production Software.

2. Usage with PC is limited to WiFi with free third-party software (rtpMidi), and USB with third-party USB midi connectors, due to Apple's limited implementation of USB Midi on iOS.

3. Beat Pads is a lightweight Midi Controller app for mobile phones and tablets for finger drumming and producing beats at home and on the go.

4. Beat Pads is not trying to be complete DAW controller and Midi swiss army knife.

5. Its aim is to be an easy to use pad input device featuring a variety of layouts, intuitive playability and modern modulation options, such as MPE and Polyphonic Aftertouch.

6. This App is **ONLY** usable as a Midi Controller.

Install Midi Poly Grid app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Midi Poly Grid on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Midi Poly Grid"
The search will reveal the Midi Poly Grid app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Midi Poly Grid is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Midi Poly Grid.
Now enjoy Midi Poly Grid on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Midi Poly Grid,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Midi Poly Grid" » then Click "Install".
- Midi Poly Grid will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
