3. The Sherpa Language App was developed under the leadership of the Global Sherpa Association (GSA) and formally launched on "Global Sherpa Day- 2022" (October 8, 2022).

4. UNESCO’s Atlas of the World’s Languages in Danger has listed Sherpa as a vulnerable language.

5. We hope that this App will be useful in promoting and preserving Sherpa language and strengthening our Sherpa cultural identity.
