Great game, still room for progress

I love this game! It’s fun, outfit selection is awesome and it doesn’t force you into ads like most mobile games do that alone would give it five stars. It gives you the option for incentives only. It’s fun with the additional gifts through pop up events too. That being said here goes the negative. Like others said it’s too hard to get lipstick, once you get to the highest of the rare level items for upgrading it is nearly impossible to save 30K rudollas without spending real money. Which would cost you $49 to upgrade ONE item which is ridiculous. I think it would be cool if there was an option if you could trade in clothing/shoes/wigs that you don’t use for a little bit of lipstick. When you are gifted uncommon items you already spent probably around 2500 on with purchasing it three times then upgrades and get a duplicate of it and are only gifted 25 it’s really lame too. It’s still fairly new so I hope more changes are coming. It can be semi glitchy at times but they seem to be aware of that and have done multiple bug updates for the app. All in all, it’s really fun. It’s possible to win a bracket without spending real money I have (she’s a winner baby) but you have to spend a ridiculous amount of time do so.

i have a few frustrations. first is the scoring in the weekly & daily challenges. there have been times when i’ve gone up against someone wearing all the same items, all completely upgraded for me (& assumingly for them), yet they beat me? how is that not a tie? it doesn’t make any sense at all. it literally just happened again & finally pushed me to speak my frustrations in a review. the other issue i have is the lack of ability to collect lipstick without having to use all your gems or use your actual physical money. THAT, coupled with my third frustration which is collecting cards to upgrade pit crew members… i can’t automate half my stations right now because i have to upgrade a pit crew member three times, (which why the heck am i able to automate a station with a pit crew member at a level two but then the next level you’re going to require them to be at a four or five?) & i have no lipstick to do it because the cost that it jumps up is 150+ lipsticks with each upgrade. you can’t save up lipstick because objectives with each round to get to mini & maxi challenges. they require you to either spend lipstick as an actual objective OR upgrade workstations or pit crew. otherwise you just sit stagnant in the level. i love the wardrobe selection and the random challenges. but the frustrations of the main parts of the actual game drive me a little crazy.
Event is issues

The game is an absolute blast but often during events (especially the most current) will randomly not appear to allow you in the werk room which becomes frustrating when you’re given such a small time frame to play in the event and get rewards and it’s impossible to do so if the page isn’t able to be reached. Often times on the home/character page the daily/weekly event buttons will disappear and even after clearing out the app several times these buttons don’t appear. I assume this is due to the app being as new as it is and I’m sure the kinks will be worked out, but we never know about the kinks we don’t share ;)
Great base game, but needs more content

Let me just say I have been waiting for this game since Dragopolis (only the real OG’s know), and I love this game. But this game is a huge grind fest. This, like most “freemium” style games have you do a lot of grinding to progress, which is fine, but there no real payoff for the grind. There’s a lot of potential here that should be expanded upon in the future. Like for example, mini games that get unlocked after a certain amount of xp has been made at the workstations. Like a DDR style mini game at the choreography workstation after you get 100 XP. Things like that that add replay ability to the game. I understand at it’s core, this is a fashion game. All the maxi challenges are fashion based, but there has to be some versatility in the gameplay. But there’s got to be something else that can be added to have more stakes in this game. For example, the maxi challenge is an acting challenge, so you have to play a memory style game for your character to either pass, or fail. Then you move onto the runway presentation. A lip sync for your life style mini game can be played if your performance in the maxi challenge wasn’t good. This is where the mini games played at the workstations come in handy. Overall I feel like this is a great game, but it really needs some improvements made to it for it to last.
