For me, it doesn’t work
By 🐼PandaPawz🐼 (Pcmac user)
EDIT: I’m just... redoing my review now.
This app does not work for me. I’ve SEEN that it works for others, but for me it didn’t. I’ve had clips where it didn’t pick up my voice at all (and there was NO OPTION to add this app to that clip manually), I’ve had times where it completely switches this app from one clip to another, and I’ve had a clip straight up corrupt and not play (the this app for that clip was still there, but no other remnant of it was. I couldn’t play it, and it simply flickered the first frame of my next clip.) I thought it wasn’t picking up some of my words because I talk fast, which is fine. But the fact that I can’t add this app, even statically to one clip, is beyond me. I can’t rectify this apps errors. I ended up not using the videos I made with this app because I had so many problems with it. If it picks up your words well, you likely will have no problem with this app. There were few inaccuracies in the words it DID pick up, it just didn’t pick up most of my words. Frustrated and hopeful that you guys can figure this out, because I love this app idea and just wish it worked for me. Definitely willing to come back and try again once you think you’ve fixed the problem.

Great overall especially if you have auditory processing issues!!!
By djspookyty (Pcmac user)
I myself have auditory processing issues and so for the longest time couldn't caption my own Tiktoks which made me feel like crap. I want my content to be as accessible as possible and for the longest time couldn't. This however is an amazing app and I couldn't recommend it more.
I did a video using it and asked some of my friends to review it to make sure the this app weren't going too fast and the general consensus was this is a good app! While it does lag a little it follows your words really good. This surprised me honestly because I do talk a little fast but it picked up pretty well. Also its almost 100% accurate! I only had to correct a couple of words.
Editing this app is a bit of a pain if I'm honest because it gets a little slow and laggy when typing but overall pretty good.
If I could recommend any changes its less lag when fixing this app and maybe a way to make sure the words match up 100% when speaking.
Otherwise I love this app and I've already begun to recommend it to everyone I know!

Almost an EXCELLENT app
By Alexd_wong (Pcmac user)
First of all this app is VERY good if it would work properly and had a couple extra features.
My main problem lies in the fact that it doesn’t support the new video format on iPhones so after all the this app are done it saves the video and suddenly the entire video turns orange.
My second problem is sometimes it doesn’t detect the audio for some reason and I haven’t been able to find a way around this. Even if I take another audio from a video that worked and then put it together it still won’t work.
My last issue/feature I wish they had is you can’t place the this app in a particular spot. I LOVE how the automatically make some words big and small (would love to have more control over this in the future) but you can’t move the batch of words around. So they all end up in the top left corner and if I happen to film a video where my face is mostly in the top left corner, then all the this app cover my face.
With that said, when it works smoothly, the CC on this app looks FANTASTIC. It’s easy to go back and edit words that it picked up incorrectly, but it gets about 90% of the words correct which is amazing. It pauses when you pause, and is aesthetically very pleasing as you can also change the color of the font.

Needs many improvements
By vmghulis (Pcmac user)
I like that the this app are auto generated, and they’re about 80% accurate. But I hate that I can’t resize them or move them anywhere besides screen left. Sometimes the this app cover up graphics that I place on videos. The new scrolling feature gives more control over which segment of the video you’re on, so you don’t have to wait for the entire thing to play over, but every now and then while I’m editing a mistake, it will send me all the way to the start of the video so I have to scroll back to where I was. Really annoying. I’m editing some this app right now and the app placed the word “know” on there twice one with a period like so: “know know.” I only need one know and I don’t need a period, but everytime I delete one of them, the other has a period. When I delete the period, it shows up on the other know. When I delete both words, and hit done, THEY BOTH MAGICALLY APPEAR AGAIN. Extremely annoying.
