Super cute app that allows for trick or treating all month long.
By mharr84 (Pcmac user)
I actually forgot about this Thursday so I created an account today. For those that are wondering (based on prior comments), you use the parents DOB to enter into the app then kids create their own avatar. I also had a lot of problems trying to buy candy in the app but learned the work around was going to the site on the internet instead of the app and it worked. You can also set limits as to how much candy you give away each day and if you want to allow all kids (public) or just private kids (those you know) virtually trick or the app. I only wished their would be something that would show you which houses are public and have candy vs which ones are out, so you don’t try to knock on 800 doors to no availability (something my little ones got annoyed with really quickly and is the only reason I won’t give the app 5 stars).

Great concept

Only three stars right now. Love this idea first of all but something has got to give! I have 95 pieces of candy to give out but no one can Get it from my door. There is a bad glitch. Went into account to night and found that all my friends and families list was wiped out. And I am not the only one That this is happening to. Get this fixed before the 31st or you are going to have very unhappy parents and kids!! Should have known this was to good to be true. I know this is fairly new So there will be bumps but come on I am having one after another and it is frustrating!!!!

Please fix the glitch
By Frobscottle and Whizzpoppers (Pcmac user)
I would give this app 5 stars if they fix the issues I’ve suddenly come across. The app was great, at first. Other than having to “knock” on lots of doors to get candy, my children loved it. We were able to gets lots of friends, family, and neighbors to sign up and collected a substantial amount of candy. We were also able to keep our door stocked with candy for visitors as well. Three days ago, my friends list, which had well over 100 friends, was suddenly empty. To make matters worse, the app will not allow me to add any new friends. So basically, we are back being “ghosted”. We all joined together to keep our Our doors stocked so the kids can enjoy Halloween, and now my family cannot participate. If they fix this issue, I will update my rating.

Idea Good, But Needs Work
By El Kay Tee (Pcmac user)
The idea behind the app is good. Fun for kids designing their characters and door, but unless you have friends and family that participate, every door you knock on is “ghosted”. The trivia questions expect you to read and answer the questions too fast, and slower readers have little chance at picking the correct answer (not sure it really matters, however, since I don’t know what those points get you anyway!), and the questions aren’t geared toward kids at all (and I feel most, if not all, should be since trick or treating is for kids). I feel like I got ripped off paying for candy because I’m not sure my kid will get any candy from anybody but his aunt, and “cashing in” is still an unknown at this point.
