Install NiBoard: Notes & Sketches app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using NiBoard on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "NiBoard"
The search will reveal the NiBoard: Notes & Sketches app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once NiBoard is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including NiBoard.
Now enjoy NiBoard on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use NiBoard,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "NiBoard" » then Click "Install".
- NiBoard: Notes & Sketches will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

- Offers basic colors, backgrounds, and tools

- Helpful for math computations

☹ Cons:

- No keyboard shortcut to clear the board

- Need to click a 3 dot menu to change from lines, to free hand, to shapes, etc.

- Only 7 colors available

- Pen thickness options are limited

- Text part is bad and lacks options for changing font size or making superscripts or subscripts

- Struggles with changing from black to pencil colors and getting precise eraser functionality

- No option for a longer page or adding a page to the board for longer computations

Almost everything that is needed for teaching

The layout is almost perfect except you have to click a 3 dot menu to change from lines, to free hand, to shapes, etc. When teaching it is important to not be hampered by clicking to many things, and keyboard shortcuts would be even more preferable. Also, there appear to be only 7 colors available...why? One of the reasons I want to draw on a screen is to save money from buying dry erase markers; but there are more color options for a dry erase marker than on a computer with 12 million color possibilities? Please allow us to add as many colors as we need, and maybe even let us change them by number key. I also don't understand what the mobile phone icon does on the screen or why it deserves such prominence with everything else that I've mentioned is behind a menu. The ability to upload our own background image would be great, although I don't really use that a lot, I think it could open up a whole new way to explain things. I really like the design skeleton of what you all have done so far, but please consider adding these options I've mentioned and I think you will have the best whiteboard app on the App Store!

Hello! I'm using this app to teach over Zoom, and it's great. Zoom doesn't have keyboard shortcuts, which this app does (that's why I downloaded). One request: could you add a keyboard shortcut to clear the board (the red trash icon)? This would greatly help me with my workflow. Thank you!
Three stars for the simplicity

It is simple and so small application that I didn't think too much to purchase it. But a few things are lacking to my taste: first, I want a pen thickness a bit bigger than the thinnest one but thinner than the meddle one. So five pen tip sizes would be nice or a slider may be? The text part is bad. You can't even change the font size let alone making superscripts or subscripts that I need in my chemistry teaching. And you have to deselect text option and selecting something doesn't deselect it. Sometimes it confuses me a lot.
Simple to use

I like it. It is simple change basic colors, backgrounds, and tools. It has been very helpful for math computations, but I only wish for 3 things to make this better: a longer page or some way to add a page to my board for longer computations, a more precise eraser, since I might want to remove a line or a number without affecting the other work, and less struggles with changing from a black to pencil colors as It takes several tries to get a purple, for example.
