What is xScan?

xScan is a mobile scanner app that allows users to scan, save, edit, and share documents using their iPhone camera. The app can scan various types of documents, including contracts, invoices, bills, business cards, letters, to-do lists, paper notes, whiteboards, mind maps, receipts, book pages, articles, ID cards, credentials, certificates, and texts. The app also offers OCR functionality to convert images to editable text format and supports multiple languages for text recognition. Software Features and Description

1. Languages supported for text recognition: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Hebrew.

2. You can scan anything you need: contracts, books, to-do lists, paper notes, fax papers, receipts, ID cards and store your scans as high quality PDF or JPEG files.

3. - Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

4. - Please note: any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

5. - An account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

6. - Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

7. Upload scans to cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive or simply print it via any WI-FI printer.

8. Easily share documents with others via social media, messengers or email attachment.

9. E-sign any docs by simply adding your signature to electronic documents with just a few taps.

10. All scanned documents are stored locally on your device and inaccessible to us and to any third-party.

So thankful for this app 🙌🏻 because I usually travel a lot and when something pops in my email, I often immediately need to edit the document, sign invoice or scan it for further use, so this app is a saviour. I’ve been using it for a while now and haven’t found any problem. It’s really safe to use (as developer said, all documents are stored on my device, not on someones server 👀), all the documents are in one place and I don’t need to look for them to edit them again. Interface could be more appealing, but I’m okay with it, after all it’s an app with a long history and a lot of reviews 👍🏻. What’s great about this scanner is that I can easily work with any kind of document and convert handwritten notes or images into text (thanks to the convert function). What I usually do is that I edit document into the app for example by cropping the head, adding contrast, change color or else and I think this app is really wonderful at handling all of it. The documents are scanned in really high quality and can be in pdf or jpeg.

This is one of the top scanning apps I’ve found. The only thing that I wish is that they would have an option to buy it out, not subscription...or have a option that’s a little bit more affordable. I just can’t justify paying $70 a year for that or $6.99 or $9.99 a week for it. I would pay $50 for the app and be done or a $2.99 a week thing but not at the prices they have. I will say that I don’t use document scanning that often in my business so I don’t really need it. But if you use it daily this could be a really good app for you and a good asset especially if you’re using it on the go it could be worth it for your business. I want to also say it is a really great app, it’s easy to use and the documents come out really great. A a small business owner I’m having to watch where I spend.

Works great easy to use. This a perfect app for people out on the road to be able to scan and send documents to the home office. Much better and cleaner than using a fax machine. Makes is easier to organize and save documents for future use, without having to keep up with paper copy’s.
Misleading Subscriptions/Billed $9.99 weekly

When I selected my subscription it says Full Access (1 week) NOT $9.99 BILLED WEEKLY. Then you can’t cancel from the app itself, you go to Apple Subscriptions and there is NO CANCLE SUBSCRIPTION button only a RESUBSCRIBE option for a DIFFERENT PLAN, it’s like you are locked in. They probably get an extra payment or two out of people before they notice and find a way to cancel (I’m still searching, reached out to Apple.) So they get A LOT OF FREE MONEY. The app itself worked decent, but the one star is for it feeling like you’ve been tricked & trapped and also a little scammy. (Typed fast, please excuse any typos)
