★ ★ ★ Transfer Overview

What is Transfer? Transfer is a file transfer server that supports multiple protocols such as TFTP, HTTP, FTP, and SFTP. It is designed for network administrators and IT professionals to manage network equipment and devices that require firmware updates, configuration files, and logs. Transfer has a user-friendly interface and real-time updates of current transfers in progress. It also has built-in password-based user authentication and access control.

Software Features and Description

1. Transfer is designed for network administrators and IT professionals to help manage network equipment and other devices that use TFTP, HTTP, FTP, or SFTP to perform firmware updates, pull or push configuration files, retrieve logs, and more.

2. Transfer is the perfect alternative to Mac's built-in or third-party TFTP, HTTP, FTP, and SFTP servers because it's convenient, doesn't require any additional setup, and allows you to see real-time information of each file transfer.

3. Transfer is a standalone, multi-protocol (TFTP, HTTP, FTP, SFTP) file transfer server with a modern and straightforward user interface.

4. Transfer is all you need to share files with other devices on your network.

5. It also limits file sharing to a specific folder in your Mac, preventing access to other user and system files.

6. Quit the app, and the servers go away to avoid unwanted access to your files by others in your network.

7. Just launch the app, and you're ready to go.

I work with Cisco networking equipment and still need to do TFTP occassionally. With this program, I don't have to lookup the commands to start the native TFTP service, or find the hidden subdirectory where the files are stored. It's just easier - so worth the money.
