I miss the old app 😔
By FakeHappyMe (Pcmac user)
The new app looks nice and all, but it’s just not doing it for me. I’ve saved over $1,800 using the app over the years, so I’m not new to this whole thing. For one thing, I miss being able to make a shopping list. I used to always make a list on the app, based on the coupons I needed/wanted to shop before they expired. Not having the list-feature makes the app shopping trip much longer and frustrating. The new app says you’re working on that, but I feel like it’s taking awhile. Also, it’s super annoying that I have to reset the app coupon filters EVERY TIME I get back on. I want to view non-selected coupons in order of newness, and I want to view the app selected coupons by expiration. And I want to keep it that way. Lastly, I do not like the setup of the coupons now. They appear side by side now, and you can’t read the whole coupon without having to click on it. I liked it better when they appeared as a list, and you could read each coupon entirely while scrolling through them all. I mentioned to HEB’s Twitter account that I miss the old app...they said they would pass the app concerns along to the team, and they wished me a nice day...but they never bothered to see what the app concerns were. 🙄 Anyway, thank you.

Very well done but one suggestion
By Robamus15 (Pcmac user)
Hello dev team. As a partner I am very impressed with the new ui and app experience! I have one suggestion that is the only reason for the 4 star rating. If you could import a shopping list from the last app or something similar for customers who don’t use curbside or delivery that would be greatly appreciated. Overall excellent job in the implementation.

Don’t delete the old H-E-B app just yet!
By Oscarmaine (Pcmac user)
This app is geared toward online shopping. I assume it’s meant to replace the old one because you can’t find it on the App Store anymore. With the old app, you could create a list and it would tell what aisle to find an item. I prefer to physically go to the store and this new app is useless to me. If it’s meant to replace the old one, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t plan with the initial release to have the list feature, especially during the holiday shopping season. It seems the company got so exited about curbside and home delivery that when they created this app, they forgot about the people who still physically enter the store (and thus purchase more than what is on their list), which honestly is insulting.

3 steps back
By Mgunner64 (Pcmac user)
I'm assuming you really didn't ask for input when redesigning this new app. A basic function of a shopping list and location was a part of your original app. I can only assume that that developer is now at Google making the bucks and no longer giving insight on the future. I can see from other developer comments that we can expect that in the future, but jeesh! How do you whiff so bad. Might I suggest you gather the input of those who use your app when considering future apps and updates. Please shoot a flair into the air when you finally re-create a usable app the other 72% use.
