I have searched high and low for a the app with an interface that worked well for me. This one is the closest yet. My only problem is that sometimes I forget to change from square to X and lose a heart for it.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I think it would be nice to have a method, maybe a dot, where you can “pencil” in info to help solve. With this one, you can’t put an X in a location to mark potential spaces and then remove it after that. Used for the harder puzzles.
I would definitely say 5 stars with a little adjustment.

The penalization is stupid

There are better the app puzzle apps out there (Picture Cross) that don’t penalize you for hitting the wrong box. Hat a stupid feature for a puzzle app like this, where the boxes are smaller than your fingers and it’s easy to forget or miss the switch between marks and crosses.
