Install Smart Remote - Fire TV Stick app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Smart Remote on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Smart Remote"
- The search will reveal the Smart Remote - Fire TV Stick app icon. Open, then click "Install".

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Smart Remote,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Smart Remote" » then Click "Install".
- Smart Remote - Fire TV Stick will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I have tried several different apps and this is the only one that is easy to use and really does work. As soon as I downloaded it and opened it I was able to use it. It works better than the actual remote that came with the fire stick. I have tried to use all the other apps and they would get an F if I were to have give them a grade. This app gets an A+ as far as I can tell. If there are any problems with it then I will just revise my review.

I’ve yet to see an ad pop up, it finds my firestick extremely quick, all the features needed work just fine without having premium (including keyboard) , and it hardly takes up any space. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because when you turn your phone off and turn it back on you have to reset the app. You guys should make it to where it stays connected even if the app is cleared from history or if the phone turns off.

I love this app cause my 1yr old son threw out my firestick remote and i didnt want to buy a replacement one right this second and this app saved me from having to buy one right away. One thing i wish they would add volume buttons bit so far thats the only thing i would change about it. Love love love it.

I’ve had this right around two years. For the first week I couldn’t figure out how to use it but once I did it was awesome not having to keep up with the remote...the only thing I would suggest is a volume control be added on.
