Multiplayer can get to the point where all your attacks start firing 3 seconds after you activate them as well as sometimes just getting stuck with your abilities charging. I have a good internet connection so that’s not the issue.(I see that this has been addressed multiple times and once it is fixed my review will definitely improve) I also think the hunter needs an upgrade. His arrows are ok but maybe consider making some of them continuously fire (similar to the fire and ice abilities of the ronin). His mana is another problem; there are abilities he simply can’t use because they require 4 mana and his max is 3. His play style just seems bland, I’d consider a movement based element (for example maybe for earth a small AOE at his origin and a short dash backwards). I also believe the water arrow needs a DMG boost because, as it is now, it serves only as a set up for electric or ice arrow with its low dmg. Sorry for the long review I really am enjoying the game 😂. (P.s. a rogue or knight character would be a great way to add onto the roster!)

This game truly is a wonderful example of what a mobile platform can be capable of, in delivering rpg roguelite elements. The combination system of elements is truly fun to play around with. Figuring out all the different spell combinations is a ton of fun and gives you a large range of choice in how you approach each run. The unlockable characters give the game even more depth and replay-ability. I would however like to see them get their own 3 element combinations based on their class as well though. While there are a lot of options in the 3tier range, they feel really geared towards the mage class and can be a bit awkward to use on the ronin especially. A MAJOR improvement would be adding an npc to town that allows you to view the different spells you’ve “learned” by using them, and adding information to what they do. This would be especially helpful for the passive skills for each class, as some of them don’t have a very obvious effect and it would be nice to understand what they are doing to take advantage of their uses. I’ve also noted that the Blessings that are supposed to double up on element upgrades don’t work as intended. They still only upgrade the element a single time, wasting a blessing and resources for casting the blessing. There’s a few more minor bugs like the above. Major ones have been run ruining (loading into a completely blackout dungeon with no buttons to play, wall spells locking your own character unable to move, etc)

I’ve been playing for a week or two now and I’ll start off by saying it’s actually really really fun. It’s easy to get lost in, and if you can get the multiplayer to work it’s even better with a friend. That being said, I do have a few gripes. The game definitely needs some optimization. I crash here and there and lose entire runs, which can really frustrating. I’ve had rooms I can’t possibly beat because of the enemies being immune to my elements. The loot in the merchant shops desperately need diversity as it seems to be pretty linear in selection. Some of the enemies and how they spawn could be better balanced, I’ve had rooms that will end a run no matter how many upgrades you have simply because the enemies and their abilities can be overwhelming (specifically the fire levels, they’re super hard). Some enemies have a tendency to get stuck in things like cactus and the doorways between rooms, which makes them impossible to hit I’d love to see more elements, items, and synergies in the future, as well as new skins or characters, as well as more diversity between floors, enemies, and bosses. All of that is of course up to the developers discretion, and I’d genuinely be happy with this product if it all they did was optimize the game to run as smoothly as possible. It would be a p e r f e c t game, and I’d never stop playing All in all, thanks for the great game guys, I’m very excited to see how you handle it :)

The game overall is amazing. I’ve always been one for a rougelike game. It’s easy to pick up and when you only have a few mins of free time. I don’t usually review iOS games but this one is definitely worth a try if you are looking for a game to pass some time. The only issue I’ve encountered is in the settings there is a button to “Log out” and of course I pushed it. Knowing I never logged in, The game just freezes and locks up. A force quit and reboot fixed it. Tried to log out again to the same end. Not detrimental to the game in any way but curious none the less. I did however open the game yesterday to find the game opened to the tutorial. I played through to find all progress reset. I had only played a few days but all my accumulated gems, maps, and spells were reset. Good things I like the game so I just restarted from scratch and hope it doesn’t happen again. Overall I’m very impressed, good job devs. 5 stars from me.
