What Happened?

I’ve used these apps for the past four seasons and enjoyed it. This year the pre the app rankings were completely off base in comparison with top sites. I read a negative review with similar concerns, but it received a reply asking to reach out to the help desk before writing a poor review since they are detrimental to the team who build this app. So I wrote in two weeks before my the app multiple times with zero response. I end up prepping through other channels but still set up Dominator to use during the the app. A few hours before the the app I get a response I don’t see stating everything is fixed. When the the app starts and I open my league everything was set back to default, this hurting my the app and the experience overall. I ask for a refund, they say no since i bought through Apple and to ask them. I’m told by Apple that it’s the developers issue not theirs. So here’s my two cents and what I feel a necessary negative review.
Mock Draft is a Joke

This is the second year I’ve used this app. I started doing some mock drafts, and noticed that something wasn’t right. I have the 8th pick in a ten team league, so that’s where I set it up. I was targeting a certain TE and noticed team 10 already had Kelce. So team 9 was the only team I needed to worry about taking a TE. Well, I was wrong. Team 10 took another TE and then took a third TE at the turn. In all, team 10 had 4 TEs and 3 QBs. Who does that?? On top of that, the ratings of the drafted teams are a joke, too. In one review, they’ll say a position is weak, but in another section it says the same position is a strength. I don’t remember having this issue last year and I bought the “Lineup” app to go with. So this year I paid $4 for the app and it’s not as good. Maybe that’s why they’re giving it away... needless to say, I’m disappointed.
Lack of the usual advice

I’ve used this app for years and it’s always been full of the latest player updates and analysis. This year is a disappointment. I’m four days from our the app and I haven’t seen any content under the “Staff” tab for any player. This has been one of the best parts of this app, and it’s non-existent this year. The news section is very lacking as well. I feel I need another app just to get the information and this has become more of a mock the app tool with rankings instead of the one stop shop it’s always been. None of this for the same price as before ... when it had all of the content.
Excellent Potential, Needs Polish

Let me start by saying I’ve used the DD app for 2 previous seasons and found it to be an excellent tool. I’d rate this year’s higher, but I know FBG could do better. I’ve run several mock drafts now and have had several times where the rate-my-team either calls out that I have 2 of the same player or that I have a player I never drafted. Additionally, I drafted Lamar Jackson, whom every FBG member ranks on average about #14. When reviewing the rate my team it calls Lamar Jackson as the 5th best QB. It’s things like this that make me feel like this year’s app is a step below past years.
