1. - The App also works as an amazing discovery tool: when you capture an image, the app will show you visually similar artworks from renowned galleries like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, and others.

2. Art or Not makes a judgement purely based on what it sees, whereas a human art critic takes into account cultural contexts, the artist's background, and many other non-tangible aspects that our system doesn't know about.

3. Art or Not is an AI powered art critic that uses its understanding of over 100,000 artworks to figure out whether things around you are ‘art’ or not ‘art’.

4. The app uses machine learning to decompose the image you capture into important features.

5. These features are then sent to the 'brain' of the app which determines if what you captured fits its definition of 'art'.

6. But that's okay, this is only the beginning and maybe one day in the future AI critics will joyfully replace human critics.

Install Art or Not app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Art or Not on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Art or Not"
The search will reveal the Art or Not app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Art or Not is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Art or Not.
Now enjoy Art or Not on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Art or Not Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Art or Not,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Art or Not" » then Click "Install".
- Art or Not will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
