I have both a Windows desktop, and an iPad. For the Windows version, I can get a “discount”. When I inquired about a discount for the iPad version, I was told it was already discounted. How is that possible? It is the SAME price as the desktop BEFORE the discount. When I pointed this out, I was told in not so polite, and very short terms, there were no discounts for the IOS app. Period. So here I sit, debating whether to buy ANY of their products. I work in I/T, and deal with customers everyday. If I treated my customers this way, I’d soon be out of a job.
  • Great for exam prep

    By NeRD__ (Pcmac user)

This is a great exam prep resource. So much better than using PDF files. Not complaining about the price, I simply factor it into the cost of earning the credential I’m studying for. I really like that this is a mobile app and not computer based.
  • Cheating

    By Richhh123 (Pcmac user)

Purchased a year subscription on my MAC. They failed to advertise that the year subscription was only for my Mac and couldn’t be used on a Windows OS or even my iPhone. After purchasing the subscription I had to wait close to a week because of their own internal issues as my subscription wasn’t working on their application and now I found out I can’t use it even on my phone. Sad!
  • Predatory and evil

    By joshtransient (Pcmac user)

the app files are effectively pirated certification brain dumps. Regular brain dumps cost about as much as the exam and have their own proprietary test software. Now, Avanset wants your money every month for a piece of software that allows you to read stolen brain dumps. No one cares if the software is decent if the company’s practices are awful. Avanset: fold your predatory and evil business, open source the software, and promote the free exchange of knowledge again.
