Download and install the Remote control for DirecTV app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Remote control"
- The search will reveal the Remote control for DirecTV app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Remote control is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Remote control.
- Now enjoy Remote control on PC.

- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Remote control:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Remote control" » Click "Install" to install Remote control for DirecTV
- Remote control for DirecTV will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Waste of time

Tried using a few different the app apps for my genie receiver and no problems, but still looking for the one that is the most convenient.... Well no matter how many different WiFi networks I try connecting both my phone and receiver to, it just will not find any of the receivers in my home. Tried deleting and reinstalling, resetting my receiver box, everything can think of, and nothing..... what a waste of my time, good thing this app is designed for direct specifically..... what a waste!!!!

Worked until I paid $3.99 to be add free
Now when trying to open it you see a bunch of different devices click on anything and it goes black and closes it worked until I paid for it

Won’t open

I downloaded and had it working just fine. When I close the app and try to open it again it won’t open. Deleted app. Re-installed with the same outcome. App is useless
