Pros:

- Allows alarm thresholds for temperature monitoring

- Useful for monitoring live bait in a boat live well

- Works great after the update

- Recommended by the user

Cons:

- Graphing air pressure gives zero on live and a temperature graph on historical

- Graphing altitude is unstable and not a reliable indicator of air pressure

- Developer did not respond to the user's request for app update

- No option to change to Celsius

- App crashes frequently when switching to graph mode

- App is not useful in Europe

- App for Apple phones has limited functionality and does not allow switching to Fahrenheit or consistent graph display.

Top Pcmac Reviews

  • No Air Pressure graph

    By Tronfxr (Pcmac user)

If you select air pressure to graph, it will give zero on live and a temperature graph on historical. Graphing altitude gives some indication of air pressure but is rather unstable. Contacting the developer resulted in no response or app update. I’d give 4 or 5 stars if they ever fixed the app. Great idea but the sensor is only as good as the app...
  • Fahrenheit only?

    By Fischkopf_2 (Pcmac user)

App does not seem to have an option to change to Celsius. There are ways to turn on alarms but no options for other changes. App crashes all the time when switching into graph mode. App is total useless in Europe that way. Will return the product.
  • Apple app is terrible

    By nonatt (Pcmac user)

App for Apple phones doesn’t do much of anything. Does not allow switching to F, does not display graph consistently, does not allow any interaction at all. It does pick Up the data and display the temp in C, so it works somewhat, but the claims in advertising material for the Bluetooth temp sensor that uses the app are completely false as to the Apple app. Maybe the Android version is better.
  • App Updated as of 8/22/19

    By dlanginbv (Pcmac user)

New updated app is huge improvement. Allows alarm thresholds which are a requirement for me. I am a fishing guide in Florida and use live bait in my boat live well. Works great now and I don’t have to guess when bait is too hot. Will definitely recommend to others. Thanks to Bob.
