I am really impressed with this app. There are a couple of other versions out there, but this one gets it just right. The AI is programmed at just the right level so you don't feel like it's cheating as it progresses. It also has beautiful design, great music, and a real “historical” feel to it. I can imagine I'm in an ancient Sumerian bazaar playing this for money. I can tell this is a labor of love from the developer (who responds quickly to any questions, requests, bugs you may encounter). The way it's set up it meant for great online and local play, so I hope lots of people take this up. I downloaded it hoping just to play with my family at the kitchen table, but the online play is really fun and I hope its userbase grows. The shop's open and ready for customers (figuratively speaking). Spread the word about this!

I love this game! The graphics are clean and smooth. The pace is just right. The options are a nice touch. The difficulty level options are perfectly set. This game is worth paying for up front, even though you can download and play for free. The game’s creator deserves credit for all the hard work that has gone into making this a truly enjoyable and simple game! Perfect to play for relaxation after work.

Seriously enjoy this app. I’m a student of game design and I’ve been looking for games to build for my portfolio. My husband found the the app Game of Ur while watching the BM video and we made our own out of paper and clay pieces. This app is perfect! There are two separate rule options and is made very well. You’re even awarded for watching (at least sitting through) the ads- of which there are minimal.

I’ve never played and thought I’d search for an app. Normally I don’t leave reviews, but once I opened it I was blown away by the amount of work and fantastic gameplay this brings. Great design, SEVERAL options for boards/pawns/etc. and I am having a blast. Now my kids can learn to play while I build their first Ur board!
