Software Features and Description

1. • Connect 1 or 2 HyperDecks (all models) and use it as fully automated integrated media player for pre-produced clips or key-animations (use fill and key output at the HyperDeck Mini for alpha channel clips).

2. Besides controlling streaming, you are now able to control the recording functionality of an ATEM Mini/Extreme with up to 2 connected SSDs.

3. • Multi PIP control, Macros, Audio control, PVW/PGM row, AUX control, worldwide Tally, Media Player control, HyperDeck control.

4. • Easy streaming setup for ATEM Mini Pro/ISO/Extreme with TouchDirector App for iPad.

5. • Choose stills and clips in the ATEM integrated Media-Player, tie clips with DSK or Transition (Media player 1 & 2).

6. New timecode functionality: TouchDirector can now set ATEM time code type and preset time code in the new recording area.

7. • Monitor your stream quality with the "Streaming data rate monitor", which records the data rates every second.

8. • Generate clip lists with mark in and out and set repeat for your clips stored on your HyperDeck and HyperDeck Mini.

9. • Play back your key animations tied with DSK 1 and 2 or chained up with a transition (with HyperDeck Mini in ProRes 4444 with Alpha).

10. Optionally, streaming rate images can automatically be saved to iCloud folder, e.g. for documenting streaming quality of an event.

11. Switch between the SSD, set “record all cameras” and also “ISO recording” if using ATEM “ISO” switcher types.

Install TouchDirector app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using TouchDirector on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "TouchDirector"
The search will reveal the TouchDirector app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once TouchDirector is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including TouchDirector.
Now enjoy TouchDirector on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native TouchDirector Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use TouchDirector,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "TouchDirector" » then Click "Install".
- TouchDirector will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
