Unfair and in Balanced

Let me start by saying that I really like this game and that it is a war game. But on the server that I am on there is a huge alliance that basically act like they own the server. Every week when there is a kill event they destroy any alliance that either doesn't join them. There is a kind of balance that you can only get resources if you are attacking an H.Q up to three levels below your level. But this alliance will send all of there high-level people to destroy your defense and ships so that the lower levels can come in and take your resources. There are shields to prevent your H.Q from being attacked. But the prices are set to high that you can't afford them, I would recommend setting a limited that someone can be attacked in a set time period. After that limit is met the player should get a free shield. This and the fact that they won't get any resources would stop higher H.Q from whipping out a lover level players defenses. It would also give players that have lost everything (which happens on a pretty much daily basis) a grace period to recover. Gems are too expensive. And so are command Bugles because the only way to get them is by paying 15 gems for 1. And that adds up when you need 200 of them to upgrade. I will update my review and rating if and when these problems have been resolved

It appears that in every server there is at least 1 person with unlimited funds. This person becomes so powerful that he literally can destroy a 30 member alliance buy himself. The Chinese players have an unfair advantage buying gems utilizing multiple platforms. This player with unlimited funds has been seen to spend as much as $500 usd on a single battle. Even with multiple mid level players fighting back he decimates the field like a bowling ball through bowling pins. There are several items that you absolutely have to have as you grow and near level 20 and beyond. Those can only be purchased in the store. The game does give a small level of gems that can be used for this purpose but for legendary equipment and ships, you will have to buy them.. the average cost is $400 usd. But developer involvement and inciting wars is by far and away the biggest problem. And if in fact this is the case, they get involved to force people to spend money to heal. As I write this all of the non chinese alliances are banding together to try to fight this monster. If we fail we are leaving the server. And our accounts. Because you can’t jump to another server to get away from the monster.
Unfair and bad balance

I read a review that says something very similar to the feedback I’d provide. I really enjoyed the game, however the war aspect can be poorly balanced. Alliances at the top are full of people who let a minuscule fictional power go to their heads. They bully people who use the world chat without their permission and any time a weekly war event starts they decimate anyone who isn’t aligned. I get the point of a war game is to destroy fellow players however this game has the most minuscule block on protected resources and you can be attacked until it is gone. Case in point for me 16 million of two primary resources out of the 17mil required and while I was offline the top alliance raided me 20 times leaving me with 100k. It’s a poor balance that anyone not in or aligned to the top is just a farm. Yes there are peace shields but they cost a lot and you need them far too frequently. Basically at the end of the day it’s a pay to win but so are most apps now. I do have hope for this app because the developer is constantly putting out updates. But until they fix the ridiculous power trip and amount of resources that can be taken it’s just a bad cycle.
Do not waste your time with this game

This app is a typical micro-transaction scheme benefiting those who have the most amount of money and time, and least amount of life and chill. No matter what you do you will have to tolerate your resources being taken and your ships being destroyed by an overpowered player who bought his/her way to the “top” of the server. Usually they’re Chinese so there’s little you can do to protect yourself considering the different time zone. Go with Boom Beach or literally any other strategy game. Before I stopped playing my level has been stuck in the early 20’s due to some constant raiding from a few “pay it to make it” players. Sometimes I’ll have been offline for usual things like, you know, sleep, and I’ll check and find out that my base had been raided 32 times by the same guy, and all my resources were depleted by the third attack. Honestly the most enjoyable thing about this game is having the pleasure of writing this review, hoping to spare someone some time and energy and money.
