Install KombuchApp – Kombucha Tracker app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using KombuchApp on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "KombuchApp"
The search will reveal the KombuchApp – Kombucha Tracker app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once KombuchApp is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including KombuchApp.
Now enjoy KombuchApp on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use KombuchApp,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "KombuchApp" » then Click "Install".
- KombuchApp – Kombucha Tracker will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app has everything you need to track your kombucha brews, I’ve been using it for a while and it’s been great! I specially find the second fermentation feature very useful. You can take pictures, add notes, keep track of the exact amount of ingredients you used for each brew and save all that information to improve the next one... Five stars!

Update: Thank you for pointing out the recipe feature. Updated to 4 stars. This app has serious potential. What I would like to see is the ability to change the measurement type in each brew log. Being able to add photos is nice, except there’s no space for a caption to remind myself of exactly why that photo was saved. Also a section to keep recipes would be nice. So ingredients and flavors could just be automatically added in the batch addition. Maybe a community section to share recipes, ideas, success, failure, etc. would be nice.

I have used an excel spreadsheet to track my continuous brewing cycles for years but I thought I should get in the “app wagon” for the convenience. I looked at what was out there and this app seemed like the best. I have used it for a few CB cycles and I could use a few more features. Like how many bottles I pulled for F2. And the result of F2. Was carbonation achieved? And in my spreadsheet, I tracked the total number of bottles brewed at $5 per bottle for a savings of $1,200. Helped to motivate this home brewer. Love my booch!

I’ve been keeping track of my Kombucha brews by keeping manual notes of what I do. This app is a great resource to manage all my brews in one location. There are a few more features I would like the app to implement. I feel the price for the full version of the app is too costly. If the app sold for $3 I would buy it.
