  • NOT FREE

    By Snerbal (Pcmac user)

I really HATE apps that advertise themselves as 'free' to get you to find them when you are looking for them, and then download, but then don't open unless you pay them money or 'subscribe' with a short trial (in this case 3 whole days!) that then reverts to money per month. That's exactly what this app does. That's not FREE - that's fraud. Unfortunately it's a growing trend. And even worse you then pay per month. You really think your app is worth that? I don't -----Response to developer response----- Not surprisingly, you are missing the entire point! The app store DOES NOT clearly state the app has a free trial, it clearly states the app is FREE. It is NOT FREE. I even found it by searching for FREE APPs. The front page of your app right underneath the name of the app says, "Free, Offers In-App Purchases." Just because you have a three day trial DOES NOT mean your app is FREE. What it should say is "3-day Trial, Then Subscription", since you don't actually HAVE in-app purchases. If you want to charge for you app, great! More power to you. Just don't classify it as a free app when it CLEARLY IS NOT. Stop wasting my time when I am looking for ACTUAL free apps. By the way, there are LOTS of ACTUAL free apps out there that manage to survive and make a profit with upgrades and in-app purchases.
  • Great utility to auto crop multiple photos and edit metadata

    By bunkerdudes (Pcmac user)

It crops multiple photos in image files and straightens them, quite well! For the “Snip" feature to work, you do need about 1 cm or so separation between the photos (found that in the User Guide). It does not auto-rotate the photos, but you can multi-select and rotate them with one click. The “Tag” feature allows you to edit metadata (aka EXIF) for individual photos or in bulk - a huge time saver. Planning to scan old photos, 2 or 4 pics at a time on my flatbed scanner, and use this tool to reduce the drudgery of manual editing.
  • Fabulous for metadata

    By GeneaGenie (Pcmac user)

It works great. I have tried some other similar apps, but always found them to be lacking in one way or another. This one is a winner. I have over 20K photos, and the batch-editing and dictation functions in this app have been quite helpful in my initial testing. Navigation could be improved in some places, but overall it’s intuitive enough to use. The included user guide is a good place to begin. Automatic cropping of scans looks useful but I haven’t given it a try so far.
  • Just in time — and amazed!

    By Kltpzyxm (Pcmac user)

This app couldn't have come at a better time. I have been struggling with managing my collection of over 17,000 photographs spanning 25 years. this app is functional and (mostly) easy to use. I had no idea that much detail got captured in photos (though the fields can be a little confusing. Hover tips, please!) Other wish-list items — — Handles while cropping. — Auto-save would be nice. this app is in its early days. I expect great improvements in ease of use and features as comments and reviews come in.
