Longtime user
By Super Krate (Pcmac user)
I’ve been using this app since about 2005. Its one of the first things I install on a new Mac. It is the tool that I use to resize, rotate, and adjust the quality/compression of my photos and images from the Internet. this app starts up and runs fast, is completely free, and works quite well.

Appreciative longterm user
By welshport (Pcmac user)
I don't know when I first started using this app, I just know that it was a long time ago before it came to the App Store. It works well and accomplishes the functions that I want for image manipulation without a glut of features. I'm pleased to see it still being suported.

Responsive developer and great app
By Nav (Pcmac user)
I’ve been using the GNU Image Manipulation Program for over a decade, and was never smitten with its UI. this app fixes the awful interface, terrible name, and is maintained by a super-responsive developer to boot. If you need to edit images, give this app a look.

Exactly What I Need
By User893478 (Pcmac user)
I've been using this app for years, and it's the perfect balance of features and simplicity. I like to create images and mashups for a recreational newsletter, and this app allows me to get the job done quickly without getting lost in a full-blow editor like GIMP.
