Download and install the MyUT Austin app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MyUT Austin on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MyUT Austin"
- The search will reveal the MyUT Austin app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once MyUT Austin is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MyUT Austin.
- Now enjoy MyUT Austin on PC.

Awesome app, needs reminders

I really wish there was a function to add custom reminders for classes so I wouldn't have to program them into my calendar. Otherwise...
This app is really well put together, and its awesome that you don't have to log in every time you open the app to get your schedule. The link to Google maps for buildings is also amazing.

Time Consuming

I got this app just to check it out, but honestly it’s easier to just pull out my laptop. This app doesn’t even let me send canvas messages or see my inbox of that! Every time I use it, it’s slow, and misses some of the tabs available when you are using a tablet/laptop. For example, my physics class has the syllabus under “pages” which also includes the lectures notes, however this app doesn’t even have the “pages” tab so what is the use of this app?

The app glitches and doesn’t let you log in to see your academic materials (the only real useful feature for students). Please don’t get our hopes up and release an app unless it actually works please.
