Download and install Rocket Sky! on your Laptop or Desktop computer

If you want to install and use the Rocket Sky! app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Rocket Sky! in the search bar and press Search. Click on Rocket Sky!application icon. A window of Rocket Sky! on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Rocket Sky! for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Too consistently boring

I read the reviews before playing this, so I already had low expectations. However, after 25 minutes of playing, I’ve found most the issues addressed by previous reviews. Ads after ads, inconsistent gameplay, glitches after optional ads. And to top it all of, the game presents incredibly monotonous, linear, and just boring gameplay. Only 4 upgrade options that increase in price every time you buy one. All the goals for rockets and locations are absurdly high. I haven’t reached the second location yet, and yet I’ve found myself spending over 5 minutes only to reach a fraction of the requirement for the second location. My suggestions: add some obstacles that you have to slow down or speed up to avoid, increase gas efficiency, lower the requirements for goals, add upgrade options that correlate with obstacles (Ex: protection, anti-obstacle gun, warning system), maybe add a story that increases incentive to advance to new locations, add a payment option to game to reduce ads. Right now, this game plays like a new game: boring, too many ads, poor gameplay. This game does show potential to be a fun a phone game given it improves gameplay and finds other ways to make money than endless ads.
  • Good Game but a few issues.

I’ve been playing this game for about a week now off and on. I will play for about a half hour. Wait 3 days. Then play again. All around I enjoy the game. It’s fun to see how high I can get and keep upgrading my rocket. Especially with the offline multiplier when you open the app after being offline. I figured out that’s the best way to make lots of money. I enjoy it so far but there are a few down sides. For one... the game is not consistent. What I mean by this is that even if you do the exact same thing as you did the round before with or without upgrades the odds of you getting to that same point or making a new record is slim to none. I tested this too. I used the same rocket for all three tests. I didn’t upgrade it once. I would be sitting on the launch pad and hold the screen to the point where the rocket would blow up without letting off the gas. I did this three times and got three different heights. I feel like it should be the same height every time since there were no changes to the rocket. Second thing I have to pick at... the ads. Literally every single time you finish a round an ad pops up.
  • Couple issues but good game

I love this game, however whenever I hit the double rewards video, it’ll play the ad video and then open another, and sometimes a third. I just watched an ad why does it make me have to watch more? OR, after watching double coins video, it’ll freeze and I’ll have to force close and restart the game. After doing that I lose all coins. Regular or doubled. Also, on the free upgrade videos it’ll freeze and I have to restart game, it will raise the price needed to upgrade but won’t give me the upgrade. I’d like to see an update take care of these or ill end up deleting the game. It’s fun but becomes a waste of time and energy when 50%+ of the time, you don’t get the rewards you just played for.
  • Too many ads to really be fun!

    by Roxtar73
The way I judge these types of games is how much fun do I have between ads. While the game has the potential to be great fun the ads kill that. Every second launch your being hit with an advertisement video. It almost takes less time to launch twice than it does to wait for the skip button on the video. Then they charge 2.99 to remove ads. I’d happily pay .99¢ I’d even begrudgingly pay $1.99 but I’m not paying $2.99 basically $3 for this game to be ad free. Like I previously said if the advert videos were spaced farther apart I’d consider buying the game even at $3 but when developers use this make them watch ads constantly approach, it instantly makes me want to delete the app from my phone which is exactly what I’ll be doing after writing this review. The two stars I left are for the potential this game has. Perhaps I will redownload this app in the future to see if any of my issues have been addressed this then I’ll be playing other games.

Game was fun in the beginning. I understand it’s a free game so the ADs are expected, problem being those ads start at 5-10 seconds and once you play long enough they go up to 25-30 seconds. Then there a points where you launch, complete the travel and it will give the option to double your money by watching the ad. These ads are always at least 30 seconds, but once you make over 5k in a single launch it will almost always have you watch the ad then not give you a single dime. It will freeze and refuse to move forward. Which is whatever, at least I thought it was, until I started earning over 7k then it just refuses to give you the money and freezes. After all of that it just turns into a big old waste of time and space in my phone. Extra: if you turn off data and internet you don’t get any ads at all. Plus if you just launch the rocket a few feet you get about as much as you’d make if you went decently far.
  • Game Theory

Awesome game, first rate, Great time waster, simple easy to understand mechanics, yet having a surprisingly strategic quality, I was sad when I got to the end of the game, would have liked the no ad purchase availble when I was at the beginning, but now that the flights take ~2 hours each I welcome the 30 sec ad. My game theory is this: There's a black hole at 10,000,000 (miles?) the distortion starts at about 4mill, but is nothing compared to what happens after 9mill, unfortunately with the new update adding "max" to all the stats, it looks like 9.1mill is as far as I'll ever be able to reach. Still a grade "A" game definitely top notch in my book! Highly recommend you waste some of your time playing this fascinating game! :)
  • It’s not a bad game, but it gets boring fast.

    by Lord Ursa
Rocket Sky is a simple game: Go as far as you can and don’t blow up. At first, there’s a lot of satisfaction in upgrades. Eventually, however, you learn that the rocket upgrades for achievements are purely cosmetic, as well as new planets. Once you unlock a new planet, that planet’s gravity applies to every other planet. So there’s no way to go back to Earth and see how far you’ve come. Also, there comes a point where staying in flight becomes boring. You’ll have such a fast speed and big fuel tank you won’t stop for minutes and you’ll be ready to blow yourself up looking at the same looped wallpaper of stars zipping past you. All in all, it’s fun for a couple days but there’s little effort put into development, little reason to become so “powerful,” and an unrewarding feeling of earning new rockets.
  • Needs to fix the ads and crashes

    by AshleyBahr
Love the game is a fun idle game but sometimes it freezes after I watch an ad or even before I watch an ad! Like I’m willing to watch the 30 second ads for the 2x collect but after I watch it I go to collect but it freezes and won’t let me collect it. I go and restart the game and I don’t even get my money. So I HAVE to just collect the minimum and it still plays an ad. Fix this and I’ll definitely play more because it is a fun game and I do enjoy it :) ALSO; Make an ad free version, will be willing to pay for it. Or at least fix the 2x ad thing so it doesn’t crash and I get my double reward please. I’ve also read this game has even put off awhile. I believe you should update it to fix the bugs and add an ad free version or at least make it so it doesn’t freeze.
  • Sooooo many ads

    by Jazzydnny95
This would be such a fun game, IF you don’t mind watching 2 ads for every 5 seconds of play time (I wish I was exaggerating). Heck I could even cope with ads if this game at least gave me the .99 cents option to remove them, but you don’t get this option. You even get an ad bar at the bottom of the screen while you do your upgrades to your rocket. Plus you get another ad wanting you to advertise with them. I have played maybe 2 minutes of actual game play, and I’m not kidding when I say I was FORCED to watch 6 full 30 second videos, 4 half length that allowed me to skip, and 1 that allowed me to skip immediately. I’ll be deleting this game, I really hope I made someone tons of money in the two minutes I actually got to play. The game itself seemed really fun from what I did play before I gave up over the ads.

The games great, can’t lie about that, but it’s falling down the hole of ad after ad after ad after ad and it just really makes you not want to play anymore, I understand games have ads to generate money off the people that don’t spend money on the game, but it’s a little overkill when you’re watching ads longer than you’re playing the game, you play as your little rocket, and you shoot up into the air for 5 - 15 seconds, then you get a 30 second ad, and it’s completely repetitive, there are so many games like this now, and I honestly couldn’t find this game enjoyable without buying the no ads purchase, and that’s exactly what they want you to do, they flood your game with ads until you get so annoyed, that you buy their no ads option, great game I can’t lie, but the ads really ruin it, and pretty scummy practices.
