What is ShutterCount Pro?

ShutterCount is a Mac app that displays the number of shutter actuations of your Canon EOS, Nikon or Pentax digital camera. It can read the shutter count directly from USB or Wi-Fi connected Canons, and from image files for Nikon and Pentax cameras. The app helps you to check whether a newly purchased camera is really new, or how heavily used a pre-owned item is. It also allows you to save a trip to a service center by doing the reading for yourself.

Software Features and Description

1. ShutterCount displays the number of shutter actuations (the shutter count) of your Canon EOS, Nikon or Pentax digital camera - see the complete list of certified models below.

2. The shutter count is read directly from USB or Wi-Fi connected Canons, and from image files for Nikon and Pentax cameras.

3. The forecast is calculated based on your previous usage, and will change if you use the camera differently in the future.

4. With ShutterCount you can easily check whether a newly purchased camera is really new, or how heavily used a pre-owned item is.

5. DISCLAIMER: The app displays the camera's internal counter.

6. DIRE Studio is not responsible for how well and accurately the camera maintains that counter.

Install ShutterCount Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using ShutterCount Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ShutterCount Pro"
The search will reveal the ShutterCount Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ShutterCount Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ShutterCount Pro.
