Install Feedly Classic app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Feedly Classic on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Feedly Classic"
The search will reveal the Feedly Classic app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Feedly Classic is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Feedly Classic.
Now enjoy Feedly Classic on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Feedly Classic,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Feedly Classic" » then Click "Install".
- Feedly Classic will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Feedly is dead. Long live Feedly Classic!

This newsreader is absolutely perfect. Maybe someday the “new the app” will be fixed, but at the moment it can not compare to this gem. It was perfect just like it was, so I’m not sure why they saw a need to “improve” it. The new (non-Classic) version has about a 2-star rating average - the only reason it looks better is because of all the old reviews that I and many thousands of other users wrote about THIS set of features before they screwed it up. So I’m sticking with Classic, and the only thing I don’t like is the boring gray logo. I can live with that.

I gave the new the app (a separate app) a fair chance and resisted the urge to try the classic version to get a feel for where the developer wanted to go. The constant hand-off to Safari, lack of saving articles in their entirety to OneNote, odd use of two information bars in the feed, and --- most heinous of all --- poor XKCD support (no alt text caption or pinch to zoom) meant I had to try classic. Classic is great. Thanks for giving your users this first class option when it was clearly extra effort on top of taking the main the app to wherever it's going.

the app deserves credit for providing a fallback option when making a change that completely destroyed the usefulness of their main app. I want to give the app five stars, but I’m not for an admittedly petty reason: what’s up with this grey icon? We get that this is the older version, but it’s the one that actually lets you read articles and scroll headlines like this app should. There’s no reason to get all passive-aggressive and subtly insult your users like that. I might be petty in taking away a star, but the devs are more petty with this icon choice. Seriously, though, the app is the best feed reader out there.

It’s good that the old version still around. But now there is a choice of an older version that is probably not going to get updated in the foreseeable future OR a new version with an atrociously awful design. So it’s nice that the old version still around but even the gray icon is a middle finger to the users who prefer it. It seems as a warning from the developers to move on from the app. If they really care to give the users an option of UI, it should have been an option in the settings of the main app. This is a nice app for what it is but it has clearly been pushed to the side. It’s subtle but the even the drab color icon says it’s really on its way out.
