Software Features and Description

1. WeatherGraph is a simple but powerful weather app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch which displays weather forecasts in the United States from the National Weather Service (NWS) in an easy to read graphical format.

2. WeatherGraph features 24 hours of observations and 7 days of forecasts for the locations you provide and has the ability to display record highs and lows for each weather station you follow.

3. WeatherGraph also has a Today View Widget showing a graph of upcoming weather conditions and an Apple Watch app with a complication showing the highs and lows and rain probability for the next 2 days.

4. WeatherGraph uses the highest quality weather data available - the same forecast and observations used by academic researchers and meteorologists.

5. Due to the fact that all data comes from NWS/NOAA, this app will only provide weather forecasts for the United States of America.

  • More useful than you know

    By AllidoisWynne (Pcmac user)

If you want more information and less clutter on your apple watch face, this is the perfect complication. It's sleek, reliable, and innovative. When there's a good chance of rain, the text turns blue, I can't think of a free application that does that. I've spoken with the developer and he's extremely passionate about his work and making sure that users get the best experience. If you're looking for a replacement for the iOS weather app, this one is a great choice.
  • Ugly but genius

    By mrAssman (Pcmac user)

It’s certainly not a “pretty” weather app but its visualization of the local climate is the best I’ve ever seen for providing a very clear understanding of how the weather will change over the time period. At first glance it’s confusing but once you understand what the colored dots indicate, it’s brilliant. I just wish it were a bit prettier! I would love to see a redesigned widget that can show the graph more clearly and not stick out like a sore thumb (match iOS design white/black mode).
  • WeatherGraph rocks!

    By -J-a-x- (Pcmac user)

this app is the type of weather app I’ve been looking for for a long time. 1) I prefer seeing the weather in a chart format rather than a text forecast. 2) The data is from The National Weather Service which is in my opinion the most reliable data source. And you actually know which weather station the observations are coming from. 3) It isn’t cluttered with useless features like a mediocre radar mode or inaccurate to the minute rain predictions. 4) The Apple Watch app has the best complication of any watch app I’ve seen. It actually tells you when the data was last refreshed and the max/min temperature expected today and tomorrow is more useful than an icon telling you if it’s sunny or cloudy. In conclusion, this is my favorite weather app ever!
  • Great choice of presentation format...

By Cover Your Assets (Pcmac user)

I follow the page on NOAA that presents this data, and that page is hard to follow because of all the graphs. This makes the key info easy to read and gives indications of other weather data along the primary curve. I would love to see the colored data points have shapes and sizes or a empty/fill percentage regarding things like rain, snow and storms. Thanks for the great app.
