What is Robomaker Start?
The RoboMaker® kit is an educational tool designed to introduce users to robotics, logical thinking, and coding. With over 200 interchangeable components, users can build three different robots with increasing levels of complexity and program them through a free app. The app communicates with the robots via Bluetooth® Low Energy and has four sections: Build, Learn, Create, and Control.
1. The Learn section illustrates the basic programming concepts through 6 guided activities (2 for each robot model); which can be completed by creating specific command sequences using the Clementoni block-based programming.
2. Once you have learnt the basic programming concepts and have familiarised with our block-based programming, you can juggle around with the options in the Create section.
3. Through this mode it is possible to control and command in real time the 3 robot models proposed.
4. By using the 200 and more interchangeable components present in the box, you can build 3 different robots with growing levels of complexity and then programme them in a fun way through this free application.
5. Given that the 3 robots are different in terms of both the electronic components used and their functions, there is a specific control page for each one of them.
6. The Control mode does not entail the use of block-based programming.
7. In this section the 3 robot models can be reconstructed in 3D, piece-by-piece, in a dynamic and animated way.
8. In this area, after building a robot of any shape, you can programme it as you prefer.
9. Each command you send will be executed instantly by the robot, without any delay.
10. The RoboMaker® kit was created to guide you on an educational journey to introduce you to robotics, logical thinking and coding.
11. In this case, the activity is performed freely, therefore the app will not signal whether or not you have entered the sequence correctly, so you will have to realise by yourself whether the result meets your objective.

1. Build: Users can reconstruct the three robot models in 3D, piece-by-piece, and enlarge/shrink and rotate the model by 360° to understand how to connect the various modules.
2. Learn: The Learn section illustrates basic programming concepts through six guided activities (two for each robot model) using Clementoni block-based programming.
3. Create: Users can program their own robot after building it in any shape they prefer. The activity is performed freely, and the app will not signal whether or not the sequence is correct.
4. Control: Users can control and command the three robot models in real-time without using block-based programming. Each command is executed instantly by the robot, and there is a specific control page for each robot model.
