Why do I need this?

I downloaded this app and clicked on get stated. The the app turned on and I was able to move it around. I clicked on it, to turn it off and now it won't come on. Why do I even need this? Mac has a great magnifying function, operated by simply hitting control and option keys at the same time. When you lift up your fingers, it turns off. I can move the magnifier around with my finger on my trackpad, while holding down the conrol & option keys. So, why do I need this useless addition? It's being uninstalled, immediately.

The first time I downloaded, it worked, but wasn't over the thing I wanted to the app. I clicked outside the circle, and it stopped, and I was never able to restart it. It doesn't show up on the list to force quit.
