Install Filter Stack - Glitch Effects app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Filter Stack on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Filter Stack"
- The search will reveal the Filter Stack - Glitch Effects app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Filter Stack is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Filter Stack.
- Now enjoy Filter Stack on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Filter Stack Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Filter Stack,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Filter Stack" » then Click "Install".
- Filter Stack - Glitch Effects will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

True freedom for adding Glitch FX to video and pictures. I like that there’s no subscription service nonsense. I can produce the FX that I want. The Haptic feedback on menu selection is a little strong though. Great app!

The effects they let you tweak with are mediocre at best. 95% of all the effects are blocked by the “pro” paywall, which I understand... But I hate that every single app labels as a free app when clearly it’s all a giant paywall. The thing that cracked me up most about this app is if you do not pay and you save an edited image, they slap a giant watermark. Annoying af.
