What is Darkr?
Darkr is a photography app that has been featured as Today's app in many countries and has been downloaded over 3 million times. It is a fun and intuitive way to learn photography and experience the old darkroom without the need for equipment or time. The app offers a darkroom feature where users can pick the strip that has the best time and contrast, make parts of the image brighter or darker, and tone the images with various strengths. The camera feature allows users to shoot with a large-format camera where the image is upside-down, giving them more control over the image. The app also offers two more camera models, medium-format, and small-format. Users can share their negatives and prints on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
1. At first it may feel a bit odd to look at the upside-down image and it can even be a bit challanging to know if you should move the camera to the left or right when framing the image.
2. + Medium-format which will produce a square image and just as the large-format camera it is manual.
3. And just like a real darkroom, you can make parts of the image brighter and darker by blocking or adding more light to the image.
4. By shooting with a large-format camera where the image is upside-down you will actually get more control over the image.

6. The camera is only manual and back in the old days you could not even zoom with the camera, you had to walk.
