Software Features and Description

9. - Save all of your created dictionaries as an SQLite database in a DB file.

10. - Sort the words alphabetically, by time added, or by category.

Install Build Own Dictionary app on your Windows in 4 steps below:


  1. Download an Android emulator for PC:
    Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

  2. Install the emulator:
    On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

  3. Using Build Own Dictionary on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
    • Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Build Own Dictionary"
    • The search will reveal the Build Own Dictionary app icon. Open, then click "Install".
    • Once Build Own Dictionary is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Build Own Dictionary.
    • Now enjoy Build Own Dictionary on PC.

  1. To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
    • Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

  2. To use Build Own Dictionary,
    • Login to the PlayStore we just installed
    • Search for "Build Own Dictionary" » then Click "Install".
    • Build Own Dictionary will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

    I wanted the app like this for along time and I am happy you develop this app. Everything is good but it lack of iCloud support, it will be better we can use our list between the another devices with this iCloud option, and this app need another option as text font, color change. and better icon! please add this options in next update,

    Thanks for the app. I use it to collect translations offhand to import into other mwdia. However, when I export as Excel file, Icelandic letters are not expressed correctly. Could you look into the character set in the target language? Thanks, Sverrir
