1. Little Scent Explore characters are hiding in interesting places around you, and you collect points when you find them! Your smartphone or tablet will give an audio alert when you are approaching a character.

2. You help researchers understand changes in the environment because all the locations in which you catch Scent characters contain interesting information that researchers will use to analyse and map the environment.

3. The Scent project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 688930.

4. Scent Explore is an augmented reality game developed for the Scent project by XTeam Software Solutions.

5. Scent Explore invites you to discover your environment in an exciting way.

6. By playing Scent Explore, you make a valuable contribution to citizen science.

7. Your camera will take a photo of the location and upload it to Scent.

8. To earn points, just tap on the screen to capture a character when you see it.

Install Scent Explore app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Scent Explore on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Scent Explore"
The search will reveal the Scent Explore app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Scent Explore is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Scent Explore.
Now enjoy Scent Explore on PC.
