Software Features and Description

1. This mobile application was developed and maintained by the University of Kentucky Center for Health Services Research (UK CHSR), and is partly funded by Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Grant Number: 1P1CMS331581-01-00; PIs: Williams/Li).

2. The University of Kentucky's Center for Health Services Research (CHSR) has developed CARE KY in collaboration with the Kentucky Consortium for Accountable Health Communities project.

3. Search CARE KY for free or reduced-cost programs that can help to meet your needs with things like food, housing, transportation, utilities, family and community support, and personal safety.

4. The project connects the residents of all 120 counties in the state of Kentucky to the community resources they need.

5. We have now expanded our target area to include the all the counties in Kentucky.

7. This application was designed as a companion for that does not require an internet connection.

Install CARE KY app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using CARE KY on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CARE KY"
The search will reveal the CARE KY app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once CARE KY is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CARE KY.
Now enjoy CARE KY on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native CARE KY Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use CARE KY,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "CARE KY" » then Click "Install".
- CARE KY will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
