Not the best thing since sliced bread
By SammSneed (Pcmac user)
I get faster speeds on two bars(12-15 mbps) NOT using the “magic box” than I do on a full four bars (1-4mbps) USING this “magic box”. I did call in this issue but they were not able to fix it. I was supposed to get a call back today from the Engineers but that never happened. To think about it what’s the point just use your wireless broadband and just be done with it. This just one more complicated stressful thing in your life and you don’t really need it if you have a decent broadband connection.

Socket error takes time. Be patient
By Sommusic (Pcmac user)
I had the socket error issue like everyone else and initially wrote a negative review, but it just took some troubleshooting and patience. I put the phone on airplane mode a few times and reset the network on my phone then it worked. I have full bars now when I only had 1 before.

Really don’t think it works
By KCKub (Pcmac user)
I’ve done the set up literally about 10 times. I know where the closest the app tower is and this tool doesn’t ever point in that direction.
I’ve also tried this is 4 different places and miraculously it show I’m always 1.35 mile from the nearest tower. Coincidence? Yeah, I don’t think so. Magic Box connects to LTE without issue but actually makes the speed worse after multiple attempts at setting up.

Completely worthless. Simply awful.
By LucMee (Pcmac user)
Don’t understand why a big company like the app would allow such garbage to be released in the first place, and then allow it to stay broken even in the face of terrible reviews. The broken socket layer has been reported for months. Don’t even bother to put it on your device. Tech support can’t help with it...and you’ll definitely need to call them.
