  • Functionality frozen until you abdicate privacy

    By ikNtsiCurtia (Pcmac user)

This app used to be terrific and I used it all the time. Then the "updates" began...Now the entire app is locked until you give Adobe your account info from Google or Facebook, or create an Adobe account, just to use an app that had previously been completely accessible as-is. The lock screen says to sign in to access "free premium features", but that a lie; you have to log in to access ANY features at all. There is no option to bypass this and just keep using the basic app as we've been doing for months. Now it's "give Adobe your personal account info, or you can no longer use this app." I asked Adobe if there was a way to bypass the advanced features and just continue using the basic app without furnishing a login linked to my personal social media, but they didn't respond. I don't like
  • Needed a photo editor that did more than just add filters

    By H.h SeMa.uq (Pcmac user)

This photo editor works great! And so far it is completely free, I have not run into anything that says “premium only” or anything like that. I had access to everything on the app. All you have to do is sign in via Facebook or Google and then you just get to work editing your photos. I had a picture that I took at Christmas that had some red eye, blemishes, and the sun light made a very weird line across my forehead in the picture. I was able to fix all of these things as well as add a great filter, which was hard to choose because they have so many! And it gives you the option to add a little bit of each one instead of just messing with how much of one filter like most ones do. You are completely creatively free in how you choose to edit your photos. I’m glad I downloaded this and will pr
  • So close to being super useful...just misses the mark.

By EVELYN JOOANA HARABHNA GO (Pcmac user)

I downloaded this app with the expectation that it would be as useful both for my art business as a way to make quick composites of my stock and, personally to make cute collages of my son. The inability to manually manipulate the shape, placement, and size of each photo makes it extremely frustrating to use. Say nothing of the fact that you can’t adjust the image to fit in the window. Honestly, it’s faster and less frustrating for me to just get out the laptop when I want to make a collage. There are several (albeit less reputable) websites where it’s also easier. That said, the photo editor is fun and I appreciate the variety of formatting for the collage background, so that you can be sure your work will show correctly on Insta or Facebook. Just not what I expected from Photoshop🤷
  • New way to get into the app is garbage

    By DtaidvStas ny (Pcmac user)

I have loved this app for YEARS. I updated it the other day and now instead of just using it I had to sign in with an Adobe ID or Facebook. I don’t have Facebook so creating a new account was a minor inconvenience. You want my data. I get it no problem. The problem I have is not being able to use the app on the fly like I could before. I could take a photo and edit it with this app without having to create a new photo. This HAS become a big inconvenience. Now instead of being able to edit the photos with this app inside of photos app, I have to open it up PS Express and then bring in the photo. It takes more time and now I have two photos instead of being able to just edit the original. This is time consuming when you are at an event and want to post a great photo on Twitter or Inst
