3. This game is played with two sticks, a larger one called Danda (Dandan), which is used to hit the smaller one, the Gilli (Gulli).

4. In India, it is known as dānggűli, chinni-kolu, kottiyum kolum, vitti Dandu, kitti pul and Gooti-Billa in Bengali,Karnataka,Kerala,Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andhra pradesh.
