    I heard about this from an article on NPR which immediately set it apart for me (trustworthy source, etc). Then I actually tried it because of the 100% positive reviews and the fact that a quarterly subscription is incredibly affordable, which was essential for me. At 7w postpartum and only 2 weeks into the Restore Path, my diastis recti (DR) has closed from 2.5cm to about 1.5 and I'm certainly stronger. The workouts are definitely designed with the postpartum body (and capabilities) in mind. Leah is informed on what movements a postpartum body can and should do at certain stages! The only small (tiny tiny) critique is that I find the workouts boring, but that might be a matter of personality...and results matter more! I'd rather be a little bored 10-30 minutes per day for a couple months than prolong my DR! Overall, very pleased so far!

    Having had 6 children and trying different postpartum exercises 6 times, I can tell you this is the best thing I’ve ever found. Worth the app cent, it focuses on helping you close any diastasis recti as a foundation before adding in other strenuous exercise. They also have strength training exercises which are amazing. I’m 24 days in and have gone from severe separation of the abs to the next level, though my other measurements haven’t budged much I don’t expect them to yet (I’m doing the easiest level). Also they have different programs depending on your starting point, even within the postpartum area. Finally the lady in the videos is gentle and encouraging and so far from annoying! I had a different program I couldn’t finish because the exercise leader annoyed me so much.
  • Boring, repetitive, and beware the auto-renewal

    I signed up for a 3-month subscription. I tried doing the exercises and made it about a week before I gave up out of sheer boredom. The exercises are repetitive and the video is basically the same the app day. You could memorize the video after doing it once and then just do it on your own. Seriously- it’s just sucking in your ab muscles as you exhale, in a variety of poses. You could accomplish the same results by just doing that throughout the day. Oh and don’t do any sit-ups or crunches. There, I just saved you some money. Now my membership has auto-renewed for another 3 months and their customer service won’t give me a refund. Apparently the auto-renewal is buried somewhere in the terms and conditions. I seriously don’t know why there are so many positive reviews. I found this to be the most boring exercises I’ve ever done. And my doctor said my diastasis recti will resolve itself after a while- which is proving to be true, through walking/exercising and being very careful to not use my ab muscles to sit up.
  • Easy to incorporate, great results!!

    I am doing this program after having my second child. All I can say is WOW. After my first child I had significant DR and had the hardest time healing it. I was participating in a stroller workout program that utilized some considerations for DR and 2 minutes of compression breaths the app day but my spread STILL wasn’t closed by the time I got pregnant with my second! In the 45 days I’ve been doing this program I’ve already closed the top and bottom of my spread and have significantly reduced the middle. So effective!! I’m much better off 12 weeks postpartum after kid #2 than I was at 18 months postpartum with #1!! That speaks for itself! Not only is it effective, but it is so easy to do at home while juggling 2 kids. DO THIS PROGRAM!!
