Great Fun!!!

Great way to spend an afternoon out! The augmentation of the game with live surroundings is spot on! Some of the brain teasers docked us for a 15 minute penalty when we answered correctly, which was frustrating. (One of the brain teasers didn’t have a correct answer listed in the multiple choice). The only main thing I would change would be how the app works when attempting to access different areas of the app while playing. I had to click the menu bar to get stats so I could then click the back button to access the gaming options of finding witnesses, eliminating suspects/weapons, etc. otherwise, well worth the money to play! I loved that there weren’t so many people playing that it would be over crowded. Very well managed and executed! Will definitely do again!!

Good Clean Fun for the Group

Overall, we had a good time playing the game! Read the rules carefully before you get started. Be forewarned that any wrong answer comes with a fifteen minute penalty, even the riddles, so make sure you feel confident before you give an answer. Once you find a witness on the main player’s phone, you can keep walking because you’ll still be able to interact with them (ask a question or use informant) later or from a distance. I would consider our group to be pretty good at puzzles and we all walk pretty quickly, even so it took us just over 2 hours to complete the game. Wish we had thought to bring a small note pad and pen, like we saw some other players using.

Good concept faulty execution

These people do not scout the locations that they pick before the game starts. There was massive construction in the middle of where several witnesses were in Austin. Also - check the weather, it was very hot and probably not the best day to do this as we have Juneteenth going on and the Republic of Texas bike rally. The GPS was spotty and you have to keep the game on the entire time or else you need to refresh each time. Questions answered were vague, there wasn’t much continuity with the characters answers. Overall I enjoyed part of it while in the Texas capital. As the game dragged on and we ran into many people not solving and just giving up, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this until they get their act together more.

Issue with codes

A fun walking / jogging activity for those who were able to get their app working. The app seemed to work just fine until we started the timer on the team leader’s phone.
It was terrible that not all of us could play as several team members codes didn’t work and support was unable to help us. We were trying to share phones and information, but there is too much information to play and follow along. Two of us felt lost and disconnected with our group. Perhaps an option for team leader to reset team member codes would be helpful.
Also there were a few times we were given team penalties even though our GPS showed us at the location and we weren’t given any other options to continue with the game.
